First GovPlanet purchase and questions (MEP-803A)

@kloppk has complete fuse kits for these sets ready to go. He also has the MOV that is also a reccomend aftermarket upgrade protection, plenty of threads on both subjects for you to read thru. @CallMeColt has done some good YouTube videos that are good at showing what is what. Sent from my...

    M1102 Spare

I plan on doing that to both of my 101/116 trailers. Like you, I'm running the same wheel/tire that matches both my Suburban and K25, so it seems natural to me to use the same spare hoist as the GM trucks/SUVs. Unsure of what the mounting will look like other than being forward of the axle...

What did you do to your trailer today.

I wish a plate mount like that was more readily available! Nice piece. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

    Mep-803 question

That fuel line is crimped on. If you're delicate about things, you can remove it and use reg hose and a clamp unless you really want a new assembly. You should read the other posts about replacing the return lines too. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

    Aviation Maintenance Conex

Not the answer youre asking for, I've seen the units you're describing, tho they're obsolete and no longer a mobility asset. Your units were superceded by the ISU-60/70/90 variants, so those may be of interest to you depending on your interests, and are more readily available. Sent from my...

    802 dies, no overload fault

Well, fellas...12.7 hours added to the meter over the last day. Last night was a full can of Seafoam and 4 oz of Hot Shot Secrets to a half tank. Today was a full fresh tank with the same dosages, tank is back down to where I started last night. Last night I was finall able to get it to take a...

    802 dies, no overload fault

There is no fuel leak presently, tho the were multiple when I received the unit. I see some residual behind the pumps...I've had to do multiple evolutions of degreasing on this machine, so I'm thinking that may be what you're seeing. It's going to get another bath once all the work is complete...

    802 dies, no overload fault

Thank you both for taking the time to weigh in on this. I took pics as best I could hoping I got what y'all wanted to see. @Light in the Dark -I'll get some Seafoam picked up when I go to town tomorrow, fuel tank is 60%-ish full presently. I'll run it thru and report back. -No signs of wet...

    802 dies, no overload fault

After an unmotivating winter, I'm making another attempt at this project 802 I have. There was a noteworthy list of problems when I got it, and I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's a smooth running machine, up until I attempt to go over 74 PRC on the AC Ammeter, then it...

    MEP-802/803 load bank info

Please refrain from passive-aggressive insults as they are unnecessary and unwelcome. They do nothing to build a constructive community of shared knowledge. That sort of thing may be common on other sites, but not here, thank you. I was only attempting to clarify my query as I'm seeking...

    MEP-802/803 load bank info

Appreciate your knowledge. So your description is quite similar-ish to others that I've read, and yet they all differ slightly in one way or another. Even in what you sent confuses me a smidge as you have 3 halves and a whole...well that doesn't add up to 4, haha. The basis of my curiosity...

    MEP-802/803 load bank info

My searches come back with little to no related TM/TBs for load testing these units. I'm sure most load bank equipment has their own TM, but that's not what I'm looking for. I've done my best searching the maintenance TMs and Operator's manual to no avail. Is there guidance specific to these...

M101 cover rubber rope mod help

Thanks for the link, that's the one I couldn't find! 2+ years with that coil of rope and I truly hate it...it has memory like wire cable, won't stay twisted, overall disappointed. Looking forward to the rubber rope mod. What diameter did you end up going with? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

M101 cover rubber rope mod help

Some time back I recall some fellas telling about their mod to use a loop of rubber rope (IIRC) on their covers inlieu of the braided rope from the factory. I understood that the rubber rope did a better job of keeping the cover more taught and was much easier donning and doffing. Despite my...

I have no idea what magic wand you waved to scare it into working! I received 2 emails: a test from the server which I replied to, and a notification of the reply to my post which the link brought me to replying directly on the website. Thank you for taking your time to look into this for me.
