Thanks for the input from everyone. I'll be waiting for my parts to arrive, then comes the fun.

    Leak

I assumed this was going to be the case. Will get seals ordered up, a case of brake clean, any preference on grease?

    Leak

With the way the truck is sitting currently, the drip seems to be coming out from the small inspection cover. Before realizing I had a leak last time I drove, it slung that oil all around on the backside of the tire.

    Leak

Hopefully I can find some time this weekend to get a closer look. Maybe it will be a fun anniversary project with my wife. I'll get back.

    Leak

Hey everyone, found a leak on the deuce while bleeding my air tanks. The truck is parked at a slight incline toward the driver's side, and the leak was dripping on the backside of the front drive axle of the driver's side. So looks like gear oil, now I haven't even had a chance to consider going...

    Thoughts on Boyce built trucks.

Here's some of the additional pictures I could grab. Just finished up the title transfer and got a plate. Took it on its first road journey with me.

    Thoughts on Boyce built trucks.

This was the position I was in, been wanting a deuce for several years, but I'm always working and was willing to pony up the cash to get into the game without needing to do lots of initial work myself. So I reached out to Boyce. Dallas is very easy to talk to, and will call or text with any...

    Pre Lube system

I'm currently in the process or purchasing my first deuce and have been reading everywhere on this site. Lots of talk about waiting for oil pressure to come up. I was wondering if anyone has done some sort of prelube system. Probably not necessary as it was designed without, but on larger...

So are you still running with your FDC or have you deleted that? What are you doing for filtering that waste oil? I was thinking about a set up for waste oil treatment. Maybe just pumping it through a series of filters from a collection tank to a clean oil tank. What do you do?

I was at the sos the other day for another vehicle and was checking over the plate costs by weight. And if I remember correctly, if it were plated for 24,000lbs it was $300 for a 6 month plate. I will be needing to look at insurance costs yet. But i think I will be in the same situation as far...

That's the route I was planning on going. Wanting to verify that all is correct. So there should be no issues to drive under a chauffeurs license or to get it plated in Michigan?

    MI Michigan insurance and registration

Hello everyone. New here, new hobby idea, and have read that this is the place to go for answers. I've done a lot of browsing about information related to insuring and registering a m35a2 in Michigan. Id assume my answer is somewhere in older posts but I have yet to come up with it. So I'm...
