Hello All,
does anyone know a good book, service book for the M1009 / Blazer K5 / D10? It is really about a good technical book. Is there a thread here on the forum exactly for the vehicle with PDF's if applicable and I missed it?
To the international forum writers, does anyone know a German...
You are doing a great job, your refurbishments of the older Blazers and vehicles are an incentive and source of enthusiasm for many.
Life comes first and hobby is never = life.
So, stay healthy or as we say in good old Germany, "Stick your nose in the wind, chest out, belly in!"
Get well soon, never forget, you are doing an invariably unique job.
You are responsible for the fact that some of the M1009 do not fill the scrap yard victim.

Of course, it is a wonderful "home" as long as the diesel engine does not have to unleash its power. But it is nicer when you have finished the vehicle and it can continue to spend its life in the care of a car lover.
Thank you for sharing this experience with us.
Dear forum administrators, if I started the thread in the wrong section, please move the thread, thank you.
Hello all,
at the American GM off-road vehicles there is a tool kit, which is called "Modernized General Mechanic's Tool Kit" - material number is probably "NSN 5180-01-483-0249 /...
Nice to read that you are having fun again - I hope that was not irony - to continue with the M1009 step by step.
Hopefully you will soon regain your strength and your sense of smell and taste.
Oh  ...
i was totally surprised when you changed your avatar. The right has every forum user...
I wish you good recovery, hopefully your sense of smell and taste will return soon. In terms of cars you have and had him never lost!
Nice to see the progress on the M1009, as predicted every photo is just wonderful.
Rick, I can only agree with the previous writer, every picture of your work on the M1009 is a celebration for us. But, be careful and fight your way forward step by step and get well again. Stay healthy, good luck and strength! :) (y)
Rick, I wish you a speedy recovery and, in particular, a full recovery.
Unfortunately, society is deeply divided across almost all nations and all levels. There are doubters, critical people who think differently and there are people who simply cannot believe the danger.
All this does not make...
Good afternoon gentlemen,
I have a very "stupid" or naive beginner's question.
Is it possible to customize the paint on a M1009 with military camouflage vehicle?
For example, if it is the standard military US Woodland (black, brown, green) camouflage vehicle paint. According to my research...
I wrote to GWD, the answer is in German and English.
Guten Tag,
First of all, thank you very much for the quick answer and the technical information. (y)
The fact that this towbar seems to be unknown has not left me in peace. :sneaky:
I used Google to search the German-speaking area on the Internet and found what I was looking for.
It is the trailer...
I have experienced a technical question about the M1009.
The Hacken trailer coupling (NATO trailer coupling) is - as far as I know - screwed to the rear frame cross brace and should only have a low load limit.
In an offer for an M1009, a trailer coupling with approx. 3 - 3.5 tons was specified...
First of all:
Should I make this thread in the wrong forum, should I have started it incorrectly, I would like to apologize in advance ... have never done that and therefore may not know the "unspoken rules".
Hello everybody,
I'm looking for someone from this forum who has experience with the...
More of a philosophical approach ...
It's always such a thing with language. You can learn a foreign language, and yet you will know the "many small" peculiarities / empty phrases.
You can live in a country and never have properly learned your own mother tongue. Partly due to no fault of...
Now I was at the end of the thread, now I got it.
... then of course I wish you a lot of fun and a long, defect-free time with the K5 M1009!(y)
I just ask myself, how do you get in contact with "companies" or "private CUV fans" who sell an M1009 or even recondition it ....
