Yep, the Dragon. I was a qualified gunner for it. Never fired a live one but saw it done twice. The missile had a tendency to slightly depress the tube during launch. We were warned of this. Sure enough, the first life fire I saw the firer skipped it into the ground on launch and it was all...
If it was loaded on a truck then no. Mine is with me now. I drove it up to PA and got an amazing 1 mile to the gallon averaging 67.4 mph (including stops). Better fuel mileage than my Abrams or the aircraft carrier or my antique F14.
Getting the radiation shielding inserted and tested so...
I bought a second Bradley and upengined it, with larger tires now. It does 90mph....uphill at a 65% grade, against a 120mph headwind, in 6 feet of snow in the middle of a sandstorm.
Past the convoy as they were entering the museum (good timing but the trip took longer than anticipated). Talked to Paul the site security guard for over an hour. Took numb nuts for a walk. Folks started flooding in as the day went by. Nice showing and glad I went. Finally got to meet...
I am bringing 3 rolls of large black trash bags in case anyone needs them. They're thin but they're free.
Also bringing a large stash of MRE flavored beverage power for whoever wants it...just the packets, I need to keep the tray they're in so bring a bag to put them in or better yet, use one...
Another thing I'm looking for
12v civ 7 pin plug to a military 24v trailer adapter. I'd been planning to cut up a set of cables but never got around to it. I have mil to mil cables and plugs if someone wants to horse trade stuff.
I probably will see everyone on Saturday morning. I don't relish going through Houston on a Friday night so will probably get through there before sunrise Saturday.
Anyone looking for me, just look for the big orange Hardigg cases.
I feel your pain but I was lucky in getting a GETT trailer last year. And it's not just generators. Trailer prices suck also. All prices on everything are going high. Another reason why I am moving on with my life.
I was wondering, the military switched the type of M113 series vehicle tracks some years back. Do the new tracks run on the same running gear? I don't have either type of track but was curious as I might know a POC for a few blocks of the newer stuff, maybe.
I tend to be that way to folks but still cheaper than ebay or having stuff shipped in.
My understanding is brent mullins isn't a swap meet, I thought it was more a show (akin to an airshow on the ground). My stuff probably wouldn't really be welcome there. I went to their website and...
I'm looking for an M1101 or M101 series trailer in good condition preferably with title.
Command post tent SICPS type wall with the AC duct holes in it.
SICPS tent liners.
SICPS tent vestibules
DRASH/GETT power cable 208v 3ph 60amp that would go to a power distribution box.
DRASH/GETT...
