I can only speculate as to what Kalid was, but I can definitely tell you what he is now. Stories such as this are just one more reason I like to put in good work on vehicles like this. When someone has made their own decision to leave this world, I feel obligated to do what I can to make their...
We are setting the ground work for future mods right now, concentrating on the removal of unecessary bracketry and equipment. We will also drop the camo and go with a #23070 OD green, with black powdercoated tow rings, covers and other misc parts. The decals are also custom black reflective...
We are in the process of donating some alterations to this vehicle, which is expected to take place in phases. The first phase involves removing obsolete or unecessary equipment, relocation of some of the remaining equipment, and removal of unused brackets and hardware from the exterior and crew...
I would like to get a V100 as well, but I guess that I dont want one bad enough. Im curious about the spare parts availability for the BRDM-2 might be? Probably better availability than V100 parts.
Actually I bought them while they were still under the snowstorm that hit hard there. But I am building the cupola for the 20mm mount, then installing it on the M114A1E1 that is going full restoration. I even purchased two airsoft M14s and M79 launcher with the walnut stocks. If you guys...
I just noticed this post, evidently I got the last two of them. These were the A1 cupola assemblies. The 20mm mounting requires further modification for the correct install. I have ordered a manual for the E1 cupola, and hopefully I will be able to get enough information to complete. Like the...

As you might expect, modern armor will certainly become impossible to own in private collections as new restrictions are passed down. Just look at the .50 BMG ammo and parts...within a year the ammo and select parts has more...
Maz, the only real consideration is what you are wanting to put into one. After that, just pick the one that appeals to you. Since these things are quite durable, it is not likely that you will ever be able to put the amount of time on them that makes parts availability a major concern...
I have a M114 lower chassis (running) that weighs approx 8000lbs. This was one of the M114s that had the upper armor cut off to make what appears to be a tracked utility vehicle. Any help is appreciated. Gerald osmwi@bellsouth.net
Thanks Massm35a2, we are also moving forward on the second machine...which should be more impressive in many ways than the first. As far as the ignition systems, the two customs are OEM GM electronic. I think I have a couple NOS military distributors here for the small block.
Well, here is the sniper shield on its new home. The Gwinnett County Sheriffs Office had their track on display at this years Memorial Day parade. There is also talk about some custom work, now that they have seen ours  I will keep you posted.
Here is the latest creation on the track. This sniper platform will reduce exposure to the threat via glance armor while giving placement of the shooter more versatility. This particular piece will be donated to a local LE agency, while two additional (not pictured units) will remain with WGTi
Our own James Kello put together the video, and it was his first. This machine was our prototype, and the second will be a more powerful one with a 6.0L powerplant with about another 40% HP. (It will not be as quiet either)
