Bring a torch. I have two 'pieces of frames', with the longer one only missing the front 6" and back 18 inches of being complete, other one still has the t-case on it so those crossmembers are good too.
I'm planning on coming, having purchased about $700 of the food (all of the dry goods and most of the WalMart part of the perishables) and made arrangements for the sirloin steaks we will be cooking for Saturday night. It's all loaded in the pantry truck right now, with both refrigerators...
Chevy S-10 tanks can be fitted. A couple of guys locally read about it several years ago and did it. I think the tank retaining straps need to be longer. I was not involved in that swap so am a bit fuzzy on the details. Do a search on "M-37, S-10 fuel tank" several threads will show up.
I've used a brush and roller with good results. Learned the hard way when painting outdoors in the SC summer. Paint looks great when wet, but has a very chalky appearance when dry (I painted with the 383 Green, so chalky shows up much better).
And you can order ones to almost any length from "Stefan Wood Products", but only in fiberglass. Tell them what length you want and that's what you will get.
Or you can use a brush or roller, as long as the object is not in direct sunlight at temps above 80 F. Otherwise the paint will try to dry too quickly. Early in the morning, if you can keep dew from forming on it overnight, is best allowing the sun to dry the paint. Give it about a week under...
There is a thread on using Behr house paint which is latex based, but dries to an acrylic finish. It is about $30 a gallon. Listen carefully to these instructions:1 Go to Home Depot paint department, 2. Ask the clerk to lookup a color in "Competitive Paints", 3. Have them select "FSS" (Federal...
Primary catches things that are about 50 microns or bigger, plus the water, secondary catches things that are 10 microns or larger, but lets smaller stuff get through, the final filter at 6 microns catches stuff that is 6 microns or larger, and his fourth CAT filter catches anything bigger than...
I haven't even started yet, been too busy with the repower on the RAM 2500. Don't even have the shop van home to start filling with supplies and canned goods.
Looked like the 73 overhaul date said "GSA Maint Plant SG", that would be General Services Administration Maintenance Plant SG. Since it was in Europe, that might stand for "Southern Germany" or perhaps "Stuttgart" - just a guess.
Wes, The group that has been coming with me are bailing because John Peck tore up his 'good knee' walking down the back door steps at his home. Doctors have told him it will be two months before he can bend the knee (leg is in a brace so he can't move it). He has trouble getting into a car...
Best seafood places are in Mount Pleasant, on Shem's Creek, IMHO. Most of the BBQ in the low country will be vinegar and pepper based, while the midlands will predominate with a mustard base. Only in the Piedmont (upstate) will you find tomato/ketchup based sauces in local BBQ eateries...
Rick, for Southern food, try Lizzards Thicket, it's a local chain. For BBQ locally Little Pig's on Alpine Rd, Hudson's on 378 between West Columbia and Lexington, and Shealy's in Batesburg-Leesville come to mind.
