One thing to keep in mind for next year. Letterkenny is close by if you attend and buy something at Govplanet it's a twofer trip.

Really nice show. Bought several military manuals for generators, and trailers.
First time seeing a Diesel motorcycle.

I did figure that it could be removed and a person just has to pull the manual shut off. Our truck the solenoid started working again for some reason. Just Wondering it that is common or a fluke. Any good leads out there for a spare to purchase beside flebay?

So was the solenoid bad? Or did you just have to set it up for this start up and it works as it should now. Just curious we bought a 5 ton and the solenoid wasn't working and we had to zip tie it.

Hey sorry for not giving you credit where due. Both my son (803) and my 802 have your MOV installed. Thanks for all your support to us rookies out here.

I just recently actually printed out "TM 11-6115-741-24" "Field and sustainment maintenance for Family of TQG generators 2k thru 200k". Very good manual for just what is performed at a "Reset" Page 5-3 tell about the fuse mod in detail.
I would think the MOV is there also but don't know where...
All right I have to tell on my self. I have a IDI Ford 7.3. It won't start unless it has at least 6 working glows. How does my 5 ton start so fast without glows? I'm guessing the combustion chamber is a miracle worker. Teach me something.

I still need to add the mechanical wire over the vents to mine, but was wondering are the holes small enough to keep mud dobbers out.
Also (need to do) don't forget the hole under the unit critters will find it also.
This SS site is great for sharing ideas.

Might be easy for someone or difficult to source, but I use a residential air handler from a central AC unit. Most are 240 volt 10 kw some are 15 kw. Within the unit will be 1, 2, or three 5 kw resistance coils that the units blower will blow over to cool. Most have sequencers to stage in, but a...
SF97 Maybe I don't need it but when I sell I'm thinking the buyer would feel better. My understanding of Maryland DOT is a specialized trailer don't require a tag. Like a mortor mixer, log splitter, and a generator trailer etc...

Once you get there ask them. Don't be a jerk and they will be great and load your stuff. I think they put it in there like that if the fork lift driver is busy they are not committing to load your stuff. Sometimes you could have to wait 20 or 30 minutes. My opinion and my experience. Last time I...
Thanks for the update. You did get a low hour set. As you can tell even if they take up a lot of space I just love gens on trailers. So much better to move around. The winters were hard on them but if you ask around on SS there is a wealth of information here. Most will say read the TM, and you...
Great find and purchase. I see you are from NJ what base did GP sell it. Could you also share the auction listing I like going back and seeing what you saw to bid. I have bought a trailer 802 from Letterkenny running and a 804 that need some attention. At first it was a curiosity but now I think...
