They are worth money, just harder to get parts for and most have the Not legal for on road use or for Off road use only clause that could cause you a lot of trouble if you ever had an accident with one. In some ways they are superior to other trucks but its the parts supply and the off road use...
Its an M35 built under licence by Bombardier in Canada. The Canadian Govt. will not let these be licensed for on road use if they are sold by Crown Assets Disposal. The truck has a lot of parts that are proprietary and hard to find. There was no bidding the contract was just given to Bombardier...
Be careful making your gas tank inaccessible to thieves. Around here if they cannot get in through the cap they use a portable drill to punch a hole in the tank and drain it that way. It is much harder to fix that than refill a tank. And the local authorities take their side when you call an...
I installed another heater very close to what you are doing in the back of a unit I had a few years ago. It made a big difference to the heat in the unit. I also used a step down transformer 24V to 12V and it worked very well. Watch how you run your wireing and water lines. Good luck in your...
The cheapest and easiest way to feel slightly more power in your unit would be to put smaller tires on it. Not narrower but shorter. That will lower your ground clearance slightly and in effect give you a lower gear ratio. A couple of inches shorter tire would give you an effect you could feel.

Probably will work great on the FMV as there is lots of airflow but I know that when you put them on the Humvee they do not work as they block air at high speed. The fan covers about a third of the rad with plastic and the CFM is great at low speed but less than the air moving through the rad...
ywgspotter if you head the south #1 route to Cold Lake rather than #16 look me up I will buy lunch. If you run into trouble on the trip near me call I can help. Eddy
That has the Rotax 498cc 4 Stroke its a great motor has a 5 speed transmission with 1st and 2nd very low and 3rd and 4th much higher. Great ride. I am only 5' 11" I used to be just over 6' but age and a very bad accident have shortened me a lot. The only units I have left for sale are a M35A2 a...
Went for a blast on this today its a lot of fun. Canadian Forces Mt 500 Harley (Armstrong). A little high when at a stop but as soon as you are moving very light handling and a great ride. 500cc Single 4 stroke lots of torque and nimble. Eddy
