I have a fair amount of M816 BII...the Fairmount Wrenches, air hose, oxy-acet system hose and torch and a acet tank. I'd have to look at the BII list to see what all else I have.
Only thing is, I probably won't make Findlay
As for the pads, assume you mean the legs that pull out from truck...
Can someone start the buy/sell/trade thread? Want to get some stuff posted early to see if I need to load it. I'm only going to have a couple weekends at home before the show happens....and God only knows if it will be raining on those days. I've become a fair weather guy in my old age.
No. Weight isn't the issue. Attachment points are the issue. They do make/made an adapter pallet to put the S280 onto and then that pallet mounts on the M1022 but they are fairly rare and I don't recall ever seeing one released to DRMO.
The M1022 was used a lot by hospital units. It is...
I plan to attend. Each time I've been to this show, it's been Great. Will probably just bring pickup truck so probably just pre orders and some other small items
Yes, I have a negative comment. Put you a$$ in that passenger metal seat with that thin cushion and ride around the desert for five days straight with about 2 hours of down time every 24 hrs and only eating MRE's. Tell me if that seat feels good and if you do or don't have roids?
Can come. Not bringing stuff unless someone is buying it. I have two NOS deuce power steering kits, NOS deuce injector pump, NOS camo net with poles (new type net in woodland). fat 50 ammo cans, 524 radio, R442, VIC 1, artillery version of the VIC 1, VAA for SINCGARS, 10 ton jack, two DRASH...
There is a contractor just outside of Ft Bliss that works on them and they have piles of parts. There are hundreds of them still under uncle sugars control just up the road from there sitting in the desert but good luck on anything else about them...here's a photo...
I[ve been in your shoes before driving from Atlanta to Aberdeen show in 2010 and I barely made it into a gas station. I remember Clinto, Maddawg 308, Atankersdad (RIP), and a former member Daniel worked the phones to get me off the road. I learned a lot that day, even if it was the hard way.
My understanding there are several versions of the DVE out there and for different types of vehicles. Anybody have any experience with these things? Electronically, how are they powered and the viewer to display connected? Cable numbers? Take whatever information folks can provide.
Never attended this show but considering it this year since it's only about 2 hours from me. Thinking of bringing a pickup load of stuff to sell but the tables are somewhat expensive @ $28 a table! What's the crowd like?
I agree they'll go just about anywhere. I think I have PTHE (Post Traumatic HMMWV Experiences) of sitting hours and hours with the roof leaking water, heater not blowing enough heat, wishing I could drive cause it was a more comfortable seat with less likelihood of giving you a roid, and...
I have some pics floating around of what was there in the 90's. It can be a real fun place if you're into blowing stuff up and shooting things. I have a photo posted on here on one of my older posts of one of those M728 CEV's firing at Graf. Entire photo was taken at night with only the light...
The water cans on the side would be if you wanted to represent one of one (or a few) that did that. Anyone see what unit it is? We had only one CUCV that crossed the berm. We had been converted to HMMWVs. The CUCV didn't make it to the end. Got stuck, then jumped a dune and the frame...
It is actually the 29th Infantry Division and the 116th Infantry Regiment is part of the Virginia National Guard. They would be either the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Battalion of the 116th. It's a unit with an exceptional lineage and I'm proud to say I was a member of it a long time ago. D is Delta...
