    Patracy's "SEMTT"

What about the hot tub, you could put it on top of the engine cover and heat via a heat exchanger to the cooling system!

    M1009 Receiver Hitch

OD that might work, you would have to get an extension/long receiver to go out far enough to clear the pintle as you go up. If found it was easier to have the receiver which allowed for my pintle hitch, normal ball hitch, bike rack, future winch rack to all go into one unit.

    M1009 Receiver Hitch

The dual configuration is a nice touch but none of my normal ball trailers can be towed that low on ground.

    M1009 Receiver Hitch

    Kind of sums things up

    M1009 Receiver Hitch

Yes that will work. Please note below: The combination pintle/Ball hitch assembly bolted to the bumper is subject to how good your bumper and associated bolts strength, age etc. It is an okay design, but not rock solid and for obvious reasons the above should be inspected and or replaced...

    M1009 Receiver Hitch

73M819 just put a curtis on my M1009. I think that all the the receiver hitches all have challenges. The curtis is a nice hitch and would bolt up to a stock k5 in less than 30 minutes. For a M1009 expect 3-4 hours dependant on your approach. Approaches 1.) Leave hitch assembly in place and...

    Project time once Again

Okay we need some updates!!! Talked to the sawmill yesterday as many of you know it has rained for 8 days straight in GA so today is the first sunny day and will allow the red oak to be pulled out of the kiln. That being done then they need about 3-4 days to get the rough cut to the right...

    WC-51 Restoration or Bust!!

Comfort Texas, interesting Demographics, looks like a nice small town area and has one of the most historically preserved downtown in the whole state of texas. You have to be careful in Comfort as they are Freethinkers. Comfort was established in 1854 by German immigrants, who...

    Leaking Fuel Pump

Just for future reference when you buy your next CUCV you could have pulled 12 volts from the front battery, lights, heater etc. The starter circuit is the only 24 volt circuit in the system.

    Leaking Fuel Pump

Airtex E8135 One died during running One died when the fuel tank ran empty and the pump was shut off within 30 seconds but it did not matter That is my experience. Voltage has not been checked since the initial installation. The third pump now is installed but only used for priming.

    Leaking Fuel Pump

I have the Airtex, same type on M62 but in 24 volts. I have burned out 2 of these pumps before going back and fixing the mechanical pump. If you do go that route I would recommend you that have a tested spare in the vehicle at all times as they are not that reliable. So do you really want...

M1009 - Stripping it down to "bedline" the entire truck, inside and out

Are you going to liner the interior, exterior or both? Do you really want to take the glass out? Not much metal to liner up around the glass that could not be done with a good tape job. Then once you take out the glass how do you keep from getting all over the exterior paint job?

The Pink looks great on your trailer. You should do some accents with the pink color on the fenders to go along with the storage box. Good thing I was not there to do some spraying with the Pink Spray gun!
