Trailers have their own "Hood Number" (I hate that term). It's a registration number and the trailer has it's own registration number that is probably on the data plate.
The bumper number is the same as the towing vehicles bumper number with a T after it.
Only exception is in certain units...
Naw, it's part of the overall set but it just happened to get thrown in with the screwdrivers in the same ammo can for dry, clean, protected storage. There's also a couple screw starters, a hex bit set, and a couple of individual screwdrivers that are part of the Common.
Only part of the wrenches for the Common 1.
The blue one is a metric SK set last 4 is 0010.
The black with the double open end is SAE with last 4 of 6504. There are two sets of these and they would be either Sears or Craftsman. Both of my sets are Craftsman but I have one 9/16 x 5/8 that is...
Sometimes the autocorrect or the fingers do hit the wrong button. Sometimes I just can't see on the handheld. The N is right next to the B so I would thing the average person would figure it out as axle nut versus axle but. I guess some folks are just below average. With that taken into...
Guess you shot yourself in the mouth (or fingers) on that one. Twernt that stoopid of ya.
Oh (comma) as you exit (comma) I enjoy knowing that I can perform the task as outlined in the technical manual for properly adjusting hubs and greasing bearings. Technical manuals are written on a 6th...
120 degree.
You know, I have never said this to anyone that has a trailer but, this trailer might just be too advanced for you. You might want to just take it to a service station and let their grease monkey take care of it or ditch and get a civilian one.
I use a approximately 120' pry bar on the caps. Then channel locks for the but unless you have the correct axle but socket.
For Gods sake if you are going this far, just pull each hub and grease the bearings.
Just got home 2142 Mountain Time. Good to be home and will also be good to see the load on my truck and trailer off of it.
Met up with Steinmeister and M813RC this morning.
Thanks for the big time help of the stalwart people always willing to get me on the road.
Super tired. Going to bed.
S C H E I S S W E T T E R !!!!!!!!!!!!
I am about to have a truly totally hosed out homeward trip. The sky will dump on me with high winds, flooded roads, and God knows what else.
Was planning to deal with a few other holding points and drops offs on the way home. It will all be dependent...
As soon as I get back, I will be working on another Common. I have not finished the first Common yet but it's close. Garrett brought the uber schwere !" impact socket set I was looking for.
The air compressor is becoming the elusive item.
So, although I am not done with the first Common...
Wow, am I ever tired.
Enormous thanks to Floridason and Mike for bringing additional Common 1 acet and O2 cylinders. I still won't have all the items in one state but I'm getting closer.
