Camo soft top cab covers and much more
You can get your new Vinyl soft top from Breton Industries in either plain green or camo. They are a 56 year old TOTALLY American owned and operated company who is the largest supplier to the US Military of vehicle covers and ballistic protective material...
All these years I have been under the misguided opinion that the M123A1C and M123E2 were powered by the Cummins V8-300. 785 cubic inches. 300 horsepower. no load governed speed 3000-3300. These are not 903 Cummins engines, try ordering parts , it will become clear instantly. Incidently, the...
Hi Snow plow, I didn't take any more pictures but I went back and found the Engine plate. It is a 3406 Cat, makes 325 Horse power at 2000 RPM. The truck is a 1990 Remanufacture. It has a 3 speed auto trans. can't find a Hi-Lo selector for the drop box, probably isn't one? JT
I build a very finished version of the shortened M35A2 deuce. It is an XM35A4 4x4 2 ton truck. Road Legal and straight driving. You can PM me with questions or comments. John Tennis
Rocco, you can put an International DT-466 in there and have great power(up to 245 in the older ones) and a bunch more useable RPMs. Up to 2850 with out over redlining. There is also a DT-540 with real big power but it is Electronic. JT out
Thank you very much, I am heading to the diesel shop tomorrow with about 60 injectors to get tested and have them check out the pop tester iI got this past weekend. That will put me close to the WT-2206, I'll be able to check it out better tomorrow. Now I know what I'm looking for and I saw the...
I have gotten 10.25 mpg on a 363 mile trip to Aberdeen with my M109A3 shop van loaded heavy, with lockout hubs installed. I was real happy with that kind of mileage. It has the 1D engine in it and it had 12,000 miles at the time. It's the truck I'm driving to Oregon this August. I have lockout...
I just installed Goodyear G177s on my M109A3 shop van in dual configuration, I will look at it tomorrow and see how close they come to the trunnion cap in a hard turn. The shop van is a little heavier than the cargo truck, should show up if there is much movement. I have ann M50A2 water tanker...
Thanks DaveP, but the one I am looking at is Cat not a Cummins, I will have to get another look at it and find a engine plate on it. It also has an automatic transmission. Thanks, JT
Dave P, on the picture named Kosh.jpg you show an orange one with the one piece forward sloping windshield. What Cat engine would have been put in one like that during a 1990 Oshkosh factory remanufacture? 3406 or 1673? Thanks if you can help with this, John T
The Wings,Wheels, and tracks show is all set for Armed Forces Weekend at the Cobleskill Fairgrounds on May 17th through May18th 2008. This year, in addition to all of our events, we are raffling off an M35 Reo with winch!!!! The raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. We are proud to present...
The show goes on no matter what. They are concerned that some people may not come, but the show won't be cancelled. I talked to them today. I'll be there Friday am and I'll get word back to Emmado22 or Yankee Deuce by phone to keep you all posted Friday night on weather forecast. JT out
Why is it a "hack" It is a H$%K of a LOT better set up than original equipment. At least in Snow Country.
I put one of these readily available 4" exahaust elbows on my first truck 12 years ago and have been doing it ever since on all the ones I use in the winter. Some people actually call it...
