I am in need of parts for my front left Meritor Wedge brake. I did manage to remove the guts from the wheel cylinder. I do have kits. But my Brake chamber and wedge are not per se salvageable. The Chamber and tube I could probably reuse if I had to but the Wedge and Spring and the rod that runs...
The truck is wired 12 volts now and the only segment of it that is 24 is the starter. It is used in the Fire Service so I want to lessen the risk of Technical Operator malfunction. If you think that is goofy then I guess you'll think it's goofy
The starter works satisfactorily to get it started when cold, when hot the amp draw goes high and drags. The problem is not in the cables or connections. I hope this answers your question.
