    HMMWV Starter

Just a fyi that I suspect you know already. The Gear reduction starters can not be used in a hmmwv because of a fitment/clearance issue. They are a better design and crank faster drawing less amps. I would suspect that there has to be a US manufacture of them out there. I believe Southern...

Steel Soldiers 20th Anniversary Logo Contest!!!

Random thoughts. I tend to add sleeve logos to Boy Scout Shirts. They are not that more expensive and give you more real estate. A flag can be easily added and the other sleeve can be a partial of one of these great previous submissions. Also, Maybe there could be more than one shirt available...

Could someone explain tow bar differences?

The heavy and medium/heavy weigh a considerable amount so take that into consideration. The medium is manageable weight wise. It can also be assembled in parts if by your self. The one I like the most is the square tube mtvr/lvs. You can assemble it one piece at a time puzzle style so you are...

How many more HUMVEES for sale on Gov Planet?

There is anew guberment $m x many contract to throw AM general a bone to recapitalize hmmwv's. Posted on a different thread. If I read correctly, they are taking basic vehicles and refurbishing them & upgrading to armor. I read this as possibly slowing the flow as better trucks will be needed to...

    927A1 Brake issue

Known issue for the tractors is the drums rusting up to the shoes. Sounds like the same deal. Tap/beat the brake drums to loosen them up. You can also pull the rear inspection plugs on the backing plates and look at the shoes?

2018 Georgia Military Vehicle Rally buy-sell-trade

I do have a used one in La. It has minor surface rust from sitting up as I had it on mine and happened on a new one that I could not pass up. It is structurally sound. Some of the screen around the pipe has minor dings. TimnTrucks or Profo might be able to bring up as I can not make it. Send...

    M101 Shocks - Monroe 32283 Unavailable?

that looks like the same style OE mounting with the 4 tapered loop bushings using 3/4 mounting and should work fine. http://www.monroe.com/en-US/e-catalog/37114/

    M101 Shocks - Monroe 32283 Unavailable?

Monroe Tech support tells me it is obsolete with no supersede. The 4 loop tapered bushings made it an odd ball. That being said you can look in the buyers guide and spec one with fixed pressed in bushings that would easily do the trick with the same bolt diameter. This is a very basic shock...

Was your truck a shelter carrier or ambulance? 400amps is a lot of juice. I think very few out there with that mounting kit and alt. All the best with your engine.....
