Any one know the cfm of the stock filter. I looked up the filter Those military guys are using with the kit and its 950. I'm just looking for a better filter option for the stock location. It pulls the indicator into red on first acceleration.
Yes stock turbo, I believe it's capable of more boost but egts limit how hard I can push it. I have done a mod to the air intake that is the same concept of the kit from "those military guys". I'm going to most likely build a filter box under the hood and pipe in fresh air from the front of...
It makes about a 10-15 mph difference on any hill and flat ground it allows as much spreed as you'd like. I have it turned way up and you can still push it to high egts. I would like to find an air filter that will get more air to the motor. It pegs the filter guage every time I accelerate...
Thank y'all very much! The Lord blessed me with the ability. I'm thankful for it and do enjoy creating things! I am planning on making this truck pretty wild then selling it. If you would be interested in the truck I could finish it to your liking. Because it will be for sale. The current...
Okay cool I world love to get some more air to the motor to see what the big air to air I installed can do! I'm adding a sleeper cab and dual stacks like a pererbilt so I will have to move the breather tube anyway.
I believe it is 4". Steve6x6x6 used them on his A3. He spaced the hangers if memory serves. He did not use blocks. Basically you can measure from the grease fitting to the bottom of the frame. Using your front spring hangers as a refrence. If you want to trow all of the stock rear...
I'm leaving tonight to go make the run to pick Up the trailer. Ill be in the experimental intercooled long tractor. SS brothers in FL keep your ears on.
I reset the Guage after cutting the fins and associated metal out of filter housing. I only left a baffle right in front of the air inlet that is bringing fresh air to the filter. The Guage has not moved since so I'm guessing this helped
.
I'm going to bring some deuce brake pressure bleeders $65 each. Let me know if your interested. Also 4 14.00 Goodyears with bobber deuce wheels. They are almost centered so the wheels will sit tires out nicely.
I have also been trying to research advancing the timing. The holes are oblong on the pump but the studs are at opposite ends of the holes so to me it looks like the pump cannot be rotated. Have you made any progress advancing the gear? I have been searching for ways to continue to lower EGT's...
