eTrailer has them. Best I can tell they are for standard 12” drums with 5 bolt backing plate, because the same ones that fit the 1101/2 fit the 101A2/A3 too, and they gave me other options that fit the same drum. Here are the Dexter part numbers for the ones with a parking brake lever. You will...
Made the 101A2 work today.
Went to the local rock place.
Needed a yard of decomposed granite for the beds.
I’m sure they see lots of ill equipped trailers attempt to haul away rocks, so he was easy on the dumping, which was nice of him.
When loaded, you could tell you didn’t want any more...
That is a good idea. We had a horse trailer when I was a kid. Had been hauling horses in it for years. One day the top peeled right off. No horses in it luckily.
It happens.
Always thinking of ways to help the needy.
When will you be on solid foods, or when will they let you use pointed instruments again? Which is it?
Trying to figure out your situation.
Ok, that reminds me of the one and only time I have called the police on a drunk boater. Could not get his trailer in the water. After a dozen tries only making it 1/4 way down the ramp. I walked up to him and offered to do it for him. He obliged. He then proceeded to destroy the hull and prop...
Sure reduces the pucker factor when your bearings are greased and you have a good spare. Every little noise doesn’t scare you as much!
I carry a squirt bottle of 50:50 acetone and ATF. It’s the best penetrating oil I have found yet. Better and cheaper than Kroil. Also, I think the threads on...
If you decide to tow it home (which I have done uneventfully on numerous 4-8 hour trips) here is an idea.
You say you will replace the axle anyway. If time situation and funds permit, go ahead and bring it with you. If you get in a jam, you or a garage can install the new axle and you are on...
Thanks. Just looking for some input. I have a 923A2 RRAD Rebuild truck that doesn’t have a rebuilt engine, based on your parameters. I think it’s a solid truck, but I have had others that were stronger.
I bought two trucks from RRAD that had new 2012 engines. However the trucks themselves were...
Speaking of that, I have wanted to bring my 101 Adventure trailer (when finished) packed the the gills, pull it with my wife’s car/suv, come to the “Shops of Legacy” (Shmancy fancy shopping/eating venue North of Dallas with horrible parking) put some nanny cams in the car and toss the keys to...
I bought all this pipe at gov auction in OKC. I believe they were meant to be used as a structural component in something. They are all 6’4” long and all of them are powder coated. It takes quite a bit of work with a flap disk to get through to steel before I can weld it. I bought a few of these...
Toby, the good thing about plan A is that ... it’s the base for all the other plans, so it’s always a good choice. You can wire a piece of expanded metal, hog panel, horse panel or whatever up there if you wanted to use it as a roof rack and boom. You have support for duffle bags or small items...
I’m going to break my rule for a moment. The “Do it and then talk about it” because I’m not sure where to turn here and this requires investment in time and steel (that I need anyway).
For the top: (there will be a winch still, to help with spare tires and generators and avoiding another back...
No worries. He doesn’t owe me money, so ... :) I just remember how excited he was about the truck and then he was gone. It didn’t add up. Just glad he’s ok.
You have two good ideas. That would suit a 105 really well.
The problem is the rack is 8’ long. The legs are spaced at about 6’ from the front one to the back one. When you put that rack up there, it looks out of place.
I could easily make 4 legs for that rack that came down out of each...
The Moose lives! Last I heard you were off to collect the truck and then. ... silence. I thought you had died! I posted a couple times asking if someone knew you or knew what happened to you. Nothing.
Glad to see you are still with us. Check in a little more often ok?
