Tom came through again, cylinder head arrived from AR today. It may not look very big but it sure is heavy! So far it is cleaning up nicely, it survived the ride just fine as far as I can tell. Big thank you to Tom for the ride and Mark for making it available.

The original bracket is a one piece unit. You can buy a 12v alternator that fits in the original bracket but I don't know if they have done that on yours. Post up a picture of yours.
Check with Saturn Surplus they have quite a few M880 parts on their site. The weak spot on these is the electrical, I had to chase down a few electrical issues with mine.
Just found this post, I remember being stuffed in these in 1985 and 1986 at FT Leonard Wood MO during basic training and AIT. I also recall the DI having plenty of space at the door while the rest of us sweating our buts off stuffed in like sardines.
More work accomplished on the brakes today. Now have the two carrier brake assemblies installed. The RH side had a loose wheel bearing so I took it apart and serviced the bearings, seals looked fine.
Took apart and cleaned the remaining 4 backing plates, and installed new wheel cylinders...
