Do you run diesel at all or strictly run waste motor oil? If you use diesel fuel, you can take a white sheet of copy paper and drip a drop or two off the dipstick. If there is fuel in the oil, it will make a halo around the oil drops (sort of like gas on water look). If it does then bypass...

I’m not sure running fuel with DEF in it would be a good idea. It destroys the fuel systems on new trucks, I would think it does the same thing on the old motors too as it crystallizes. I’m not an expert on it, just my two cents.

Call Boyce, they are a great company and they will steer you in the right direction.

The ones from ebay I have put in always rub at the fender hole and are hard to get the brackets that cover the hole back on. Also they are a thinner gauge steel. If you can find a NOS one, it would be a better route. Stick a want ad up in the classifieds, I bet someone has some laying around.

The aftermarket j pipes work (on eBay) but don’t fit the best. I found some NOS ones and they fit far better.
