hey another thing. not sure if you realized it or not but atleast in the 003 manual there isnt a pic of your model pump. there are two types of pumps and the only breakdown pic of the pump you and i have is in the parts manual. the 002 manuals it may have been added. not sure.
no rob there is no disc thats all the pump body and doesnt come apart. when you look in the center hole on the end with the fuel line fittings, if the delivery valve and seat are all out i think you should be able to see the end on the shaft. try a brass or plastic drift/punch on that end and...
i picked up this little trailer from northern. was cheap. $260 delivered. its a little overloaded but its just so i can move this thing around my property or in an emergency go a couple miles in town here. also cut some "diesel" and "close to run" decals real quick and installed them.
the oil filter setup is a conversion i got from a guy that machines and sells them on ebay. the plate is ok but i wasnt crazy about the fitting in the center. i should have paid a little more for speddmon's kit. the kit comes with the adapter plate and gasket. cant remember the filter model but...
oh yeah rob thats not right. that shaft should be smooth as tree guy said. thats why your parts broke. that is the plunger. the engine spins that thing and pushes it in and out. it should be like butter. if you have the delivery valve completely out you should be able to push on the...
Actually i did get it to fire the compressor. I did have to turn everything else in the shop off except one set of lights. It is a true 7.5hp too. This is a weg motor. Supposed to draw 56amps startup then 36 or so running. Once it was goin i was pullin 75% load. One nice feature of the...
i have it running now powering my shop. i decided to load it up a bit. did great except for it doesnt like to start bigger motors. my spraybooth has a 3hp and it was kinda ok with that but it really did not like my 7.5hp compressor. it kicked it off then got slower and slower over about 5sec...

Ok i think its just a false alarm. Once i fixed that cap and it seals now i got nothing. All is good. I did open it up while its running just to see and just a very slight puffing. Nothing abnormal and slight oil splattering around. I have it running now. Ill take a video and post it up later...
Yeah as soon as it warms up a bit here i am gonna pull this outside and look into it a bit more. It wasnt top on my list last night. Just something i noticed. I did look at the dipstick and the previous owner must have put a new one on. The cap part was bent a bit so it wasnt sealing properly. I...
rob i also had the square block with the dot on it break and on the speed control shaft i had the little tab that rides in the groove on the block break.
i would pull the plunger shaft out. nothing holding it in at this point. just pull it out and the block will fall out. as treeguy said...
man kinda funny there are two of us going through the same thing with the same broken piece. i had a few more broken pieces in mine though. i got the pieces all changed out and runs beautiful.
SHE LIVES!!! i got my injector pump parts in the mail today from gimpyrobb. i was really lucky he had the broken pieces. i sat down at the table tonight and put the pump all back together. everything went smoothly with that. got the pump mounted on the engine and gears all meshed right. once...
