    mep-003a teardown and refurb

Yes did all that. There is a pointer up above the blower wheel so i set the engine to the pc mark then marked the blower wheel. I then put the new flywheel on, put the blower wheel back on the mark and double checked the pointer in the flywheel to be sure it was right on the pc mark again. No...

    mep-003a teardown and refurb

Hmm thats interesting. Pretty sure the valves are adjusted ok. I went through them a couple times. Ill check it again though. I think i will start by double checking the pump to make sure the timing is right as far as the gear being set to the cam correctly. Maybe its off a tooth. If thats not...

    mep-003a teardown and refurb

yeah its definitely getting a ton of fuel. how can fuel get past the injection pump? if the injection pump is dumping way too much fuel, to the extent i am seeing here wouldnt that indicate something is up with the pump? it seems like its just pumping massive amounts of fuel into the engine.

you know i was gonna offer that up too oatey. i can do all of them on the set except for the wiring diagram on top of the control box. mine is shot and i would need an almost brand new one to get the design off of first, then i can reproduce it. all these others are just black boxes and type so...

MEP-002 Tripping DC Control Circuit Breaker

Yeah get rid of thise capacitors. If you look at my refurb thread i did a post with pics 2 days ago where i removed mine. To make it easy though you can cut the wire and use a butt/crimp connector and use some heat shrink around the connection.

MEP-002 Tripping DC Control Circuit Breaker

In the first pic there are 3 rubber connectors there. They just pull apart. Disconnect those 3 and you will have taken your pumps offline.
