LOL you also think the 6.2/6.5 detroits are junk... That would also be false, as with any IDI Diesel they will be problematic than the modern DI and CommonRail diesels. Are all Common Rail diesels (6.4 and newer powerjokes, 03 and newer 5.9 Cummins, and all Duramax's) junk because the...
These statements are based on what facts???? You know little on this subject. The 3116 and 3126 are both very reliable engines with the ability to make decent power. So what they can't be resleeved... With today metalergy there are no reasons to worry about the blocks casting or bore wear. The...
If you need one let me know, We have a stock pile and they are pretty much obsolete anymore. Shipping would be tough, but you could have it for shipping costs.
But I would dually it and be done with it honestly it will look killer next to your avatar pic. And remember you will be buying two...
A 97 14 bolt Full Floater should bolt right in just check the gear ratio's. That hing would look kiler as a dually. I have a few sets of axle shafts for 14 bolts I'm not sure on the spline count though.

The harmonics and vibration will shake and rattle that old Jimmy to death and will lead to some cracking or breakage of somthing...
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, is it you need 100 posts to post a for sale add, or is it you need to have 100 posts complaining about the classifieds???
This is all far to complex for me to comprehend:shock:
I think it will be just fine and the performance gains should be noticable.
That being said you really don't have to mount the turbo driectly to the exhaust manifold you could do a remote mount system and have much more room and your down pipe could be a straight shot. Also intercooling it...
looks good nice work, only thing I am leary of is your pump placement. I placed mine down by the air tannks. Used the same braces it keeps the pump well below the bed and all debris that could lodge itself between the bed and chassis.
