As far as I know, the engine needs no type of special electronic tools, it is a fully mechanical engine. The only electrics on it are starter, alternator and FSOV. As for the ABS and trans, I personally do not know.
Speaking of push tubes. Again, IIRC, the small cam and big cam are different lengths. Don't mix them. Again, IIRC, SC are longer. Funny how you know things and when what you know isn't used, it goes away.....
I lied, I had bow storage at the front, the 3/8 rod the bows rest on....I secured mine in the pocket under the bed, centered between the axle, secured with a chain through the lunette and another chain through the feet and pulled tight with a turnbuckle to the lifting bracket guides. There is a...
I agree with juanprado. I had mine, although it was a deuce, mounted at the front underside of the bed. Exactly as stated, stored as a single piece, easily separated and pulled out 1 leg at a time by a single person. Attaching an assembled medium tow bar by ones self to the tow vehicle can be a...
If I were looking to do a home built camping rig, I would locate some, or one of the horizontal mount tanks that are 50 or so gallons. Out this way, there are a couple of RV salvage places and parts can be had for 1/3rd the cost of new. As for the OP stating not wanting to hole the box, the only...
I'd do propane for your water heater, fridge...use a 2 or 3 way....cooktop/oven and comfort heating. I can go apx 3 weeks on a 10 gallon tank using all of the above daily in cold weather, hot even longer due to no heater and not using the oven as much.
As for the passthrough, it will need to be...
I totally forgot about this! Been busy, the trailer has been moved and is in place. Been some nerve issues and have slowed down a bit until it is sorted out. I will take pics though!
Pintle style injectors can stick open. When they do, the compression will be pushed back through the nozzle and into the pump. Maybe try cracking one injector line at a time then try firing it. Don't you love internet troubleshooting?
I do not believe the white is smoke in his video. It does not hang around, it fades away. Pull a sample of fuel into a clean, clear vessel, a dry water bottle works well, from the bottom of the tank. Let it sit overnite and see what it looks like. Could have a good amount of water in it. Won't...
Bolt pattern is larger on the P. You will need the pump and support brackets, fuel lines and their supports/isolators, injectors, gear housing, pump drive gear, maybe the drain line for the injectors, supply line from the filters to the pump, and the return fitting....maybe.
The above pic is of...
I so wanted to take a pic of the last load of wood on the fire, but, the phone was hiding! Those rounds were BIG! and the tire was aired up the following morning.
Next year a tube for the small heart bottles.
Saltydeuce, your dad is a hoot!
Just got home, woke up at 7 everyone still hibernating, left at 0800. Good trip home. Thanks to all for a great trip. I took no pics, lost my phone on the way to the lakebed yesterday, but found it under the pas side seat this morning.
Good to see some old faces and the newer ones too. Thanks...
