I thought I'd fill in the group on the dashes direct replacement dash. If I did it again, I'd pay the extra to find a good used dash! It does fit good, but too much trimming to make it fit. It's at least better than the one the Marines drilled multiple holes in!

On my 2006 M1152 after starting for the first time, the voltage will surge up and down, but after about a minute it will stabilize. Could the voltage regulator be going bad possibly? Batterys are fully charged.

Shouldn't the headlights and turn signals work even if key isn't in ignition? I still have to change ignition key lock because I didn't get a key with the truck, so I couldn't move forward to see if it makes a difference.

My 1152 was just dropped off by shipper and faint power steering once in a while and no brakes. There is a whine coming from pump. Fluid is filled on reservoir. Brake light is on. Would a clogged filter in the power steering reservoir cause this symptom or does it sound like bad pump? It's...

My new M1152 has a mechanical speedometer installed. I thought all M1152's had the electric 80mph speedo's installed. Was this an upgrade done later on? I have found the kit for the whole setup, part number 57k4882. And has anyone tried the Oshkosh LVS speedo, I looks the identical.

Finally installed rebuilt IP and what a difference in the way it runs. You can actually talk at idle to passengers. The only issue I have is that at idle the muffler shield rattles like crazy. Could the idle be too low now? Or is it normal for a little rattling? What is normal idle rpm?

Watching the auctions today and Humvee's seemed to be going for a decent price. Ended up with a 3,000 mile running 2007 1152 for 8800. Now for the EUC waiting game once again!
