A large welder on a small trailer. 2" ball.
I put it on u ship, and also getting a quote from veritread.
If someone could get it to KCY, that'd work too.
So hypothetically I'm bidding on a truck and have a prebid in that is winning. The auction is supposed to take place today.
The bid is a substantial portion of my entire operating capital.
The auction date is subsequently pushed out literally MONTHS!
Am I still accountable for my bid? My bid...
While working on flipping deuce hubs I was removing the wheelstuds by means of tapping them out. To ensure I didn't hit one off center, I placed a 3lb sledge on the stud and then struck the sledge with another hammer.
I knew this was a bad idea but did it anyway.
I felt an impact on my left...
I notice the inner wheel bearings are wider than the outer ones.
During a hub flip do the bearing or races get switched around? I see no mention of it in the instructions. My best guess says no, but I want to be certain.
Thanks
Departing 9 May (tentatively).
1ton Ram and flatbed on the way to OKC, M923 on the way back....
Edit -outbound leg is filling up, but I may still have room for small stuff.
The return leg has 2 5ton axles and 6 super singles. I may be able to cram in some more stuff..
Yesterday's trip up and over Mt Lemmon, accompanied by another forum member from out of state .
We enjoyed sun and snow and rain in no particular sequence.
Yesterday I used it for fencing. Running a chop saw off the AC generator and using the welder for stick welding. Settings are coarse adjustment at minimum, fine adjustment at maximum, which should yield about 90 amps. 2/0 cable leads. 1/8" 6010.
Yesterday it worked fine. Today I got to the job...
I watched as the same truck was listed and sold three weeks in a row on GP.
I now see it happening again with another truck.
Item number changes, but serial number and miles/hours as well as pics clearly show that it's the same truck.
Trucks sell on Wednesday and then the truck shows back up...
Inexplicable fuel leak between the two halves of this piece. I was thinking the O ring wasn't properly seated. I cleaned and reassembled it, ensuring that the O ring properly seated. Upon starting the truck the leak was back in full force, spraying.
I almost think there should be a gasket...
I went to recover a "driveable, runs with a jump" deuce out of Davis Monthan AFB the other day for a friend of a friend. I was going to drive it to my house and store it for a week or so then the guy was t drive it 500ish miles home.
I got there, and the GP rep told me there might be a leak...
I'm driving a 5ton, towing a tilt deck flatbed with a capacity of 10k. Tentative departure 4 March.
I'm not a commercial carrier and I'm not looking for commercial rates. Abut half that would do nicely....
Empty as far as OKC.
Delivery en route of anything i have for sale is free. This...
My big event today was a trip to the metal supply place. I unhooked my M925 from the plasma cutter and took the top off it and drove it accross town.
Part of my trip was on I 10. Had to go get fuel and AZ won't let 3 axle trucks fill up at the normal places. 2200 rpm was about 58mph. My fuel...
Yesterday was an eventful day. Shakedown drive of my most recently acquired M925.
A fellow SS member got a truck at auction and needed it delivered to PHX. I got up and pretripped my truck and went and picked it up. The GP guy was good to deal with and we had the towbars connected in a very...
While driving my M925 home from dropping off a M35A2 in Phoenix yesterday evening, a bad thing happened.
I was driving in the right lane on the interstate, about 60mph, soft top removed. Headlights approaching from behind. He changed to the left lane abruptly at the last moment and went left...
I'm going to fly there and pick up a truck and drive back this way. Timeframe is next week.
I'd really like to be able to fill it up in exchange for some fuel $$. I'm not a commercial carrier so I don't expect commercial rates...
Anything that fits, up to and including another 5ton truck...
