Sounds to me like the fuel pump (lift pump) as well detailed by @WWRD99 .
Yep, that trick with the grease on the pushing rod will help installation A LOT. :)
Just don't forget that testing the lift pump is worth your time.
Rather than pointing the parts cannon at it...
Repeating what...

I can't really talk to the wave form, but a MEP803 was built to drive electronics in a weapons system. Of course that too was built mil-spec, but always on Mobile power.
Sounds to me like you might want to download the TM's (Technical Manuals) for the machine. Reading through that might...

Yes Sir!
Gotta branch out...
The disease is pretty aggressive.
Next you will want a wrecker to haul your vehicles around.
Or maybe an armored vehicle.

I like yours better... The rounded edges on the tarp supports are better and your winch setup too. Along with the two seats makes it more realistic! The rounded nose makes it more real as well.

Be sure to download the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your 003.

Welcome to the Outfit!
You already look fairly well mil-spec except for those chrome trim rings.
Maybe a little paint to chase away the rust - but overall - nice looking truck!

Wel I guess you need a belated Welcome to the Outfit! Or not... Anyhow, I guess the first thing I would suggest is that you go download the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your new to you vehicle. The "Dash 10" (File Name ending in -10) would help you a lot. I mean there are things you can...

You might look in the "way back machine" and see if the original posting is there.
If so, screen scrape it and email it to them... Hopefully that will solve the problem?

Yes Sir.
That is the factory vent.
What we are doing is extending that vent up out of the water if you happen to be fording a stream... A lot of times, if you put it above your nose while seated in the truck you will be safe
Nothing wrong with using the factory vent - except once...
