    Interesting on the batteries. My truck came with 4 "Jims Batteries" installed, maybe from Walmart. The cable for the rear right hand battery was not even connected to the post. Runs fine, starts fine buy maybe a pair of the military batteries, per your suggestion might be a sound move.
