Has anyone found a source for the 5/8" supplemental armor glass, all I see are poly windows and an occasional NOS piece.
Do not prefer the poly because they scratch too easy and the OEM glass is obviously crap to begin with.
EDIT, my opinion is based on the fact that I have 2 M998s, a helmet top...
On my #1 M998 I installed locking door handles, gives me some piece of mind as long as I can still see the truck.
BUT in today's environment I am thinking also of being able to lock myself IN, hopefully giving me long enough to draw....
So is Federal the only one offering a "dual" locking door...
My 93 M998 has the original (A-0) front seats, I have a set of A1 seats and all the necessary components for the commander side.
I also picked up a drivers seat base from AMG.
The footprint looks to be much different than the original and the parts TM does not seem to be any help, does this...
OK I am not trying to open the debate whether there is or is not a such thing as an A0, I think most understand the what is meant by that designation.

Well hopefully this will not be the epitaph for this project, I thought a thread with the progress and possible pitfalls that lay ahead might be interesting to someone, constructive criticism, hints and comments from actual experience will be of course welcome.
