Hi,
I am looking for the "J" bolts used to attach the front of the hard top to the top of the M939 series windshield frame (A pillar). Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've already tried places like Memphis Equipment.
A friend of mine in GA is brokering two M998s for a customer of his. The HMMWVs are clean, running units that came from the auction in the late 90s. The owner has clear titles for both trucks. He paid more at auction, but he needs to move them so he has decided to take a loss. He will sell...
A friend of mine just acquired an M62A2. He was hoping to find the manuals for this truck. Did they military produce manuals for the multifuel powered M62? Should he reference both the M543A2 manual, as well as the older gas powered M62 manual? Any help would be appreciated. I already scanned...
I just got my M35A3 home and, after swapping out the batteries, fired her up. Man, that truck is nice! I am not sure why the Army did not warm up to them. They truly seem like a huge improvement over the old M35A2. I have heard that the CTIS was problematic. Fortunately, mine works. The...
Sometimes, the HOTS LOTS have the nicest trucks included in them, but I've also seen some really rough trucks come up in the HOT LOTS. I am sure they have done their research and people bid higher on the HOT LOTS so they want to ensure the highest amount possible for a heap of S***. Any ideas?
I recently bought a very clean M151A2, but there is a problem with the transmission. I know I've seen places that sold new transmissions, but I can't locate them now. Does anyone know where I can purchase a new transmission for an M151A2?
I recently bought an M35A3, but it has not yet made it home. I have a question regarding the VIN #. Did they issue a new VIN number or did the truck retain its original VIN # when it was rebuilt? If it is the former, is there any way to track the history of the original truck? When was it...
Hello All,
I have a friend in westen Montana that needs a complete steering column for his M1031.
If anyone out there has one in good to excellent condition you can let me know or contact him direct. Keith's email is newfdad@earthlink.net. Thanks!
I'd like to start a thread about things we want GL to change. Please keep it civil and productive. I am sure we all have horror stories to share. I have not met many peop,e that dealt with GL on a regular basis that were satisfied customers. Well, what do you want changed?
I'll start it...
A good friend of mine has a truck outside of Letterkenny that has some issues. Basically, the truck will run, but it runs roughly and makes "sounds" above an idle (I am not sure what those "sounds" are...this is all I was told). It could be as simple as dirty injectors, or it could be...
I am having a truck delivered to John Winslow's place in NC. The guy is going to dead-head back to LA (and I'm paying for it!). If you need something hauled from the NC area down to MS/AL/GA/LA area, I am sure he could do it cheaply! The guy has a detach so he could probably haul most...
Does anyone know where I can find the correct O-rings for this rim? I'd like to find the right ones if anyone has a lead. Six to ten ought to do it. Thanks!
Has anyone ever submitted a claim to GL? Better yet, has anyone ever received a positive (reimbursement of some sort) response to a claim that they submitted? I've submitted two claims and had both turned down. IMHO, I was in the "right" on both. The latest claim that was shot down was...
Does anyone have fiberglass (preferably) or wood troop seats that are 120" from the outside of one stake pocket to the outside of the end stake? These troop seats fit the M814/M55/M927. I have two NOS fiberglass troop seats and need SIX more to complete two M814s. Any help in finding these...
I have an M925A2 that came out of Ft. Jackson, SC. As you face the truck from the front, the passenger side bumper marking reads TDC FJ. I know this means Tactical Doctrine Command, Ft. Jackson. The driver's side reads TAB 061. Does anyone know what TAB 061 might mean? Thanks!
Hi, does anyone know where I can find the straps that go under the bed of a drop side to secure the top bows while they are not in use? I would prefer new straps if possible.
Thanks!
