The guy who did all the metal work on my tractor has been working building this 1/48 scale model of the U.S.S. Saratoga. As you look at the pictures keep in mind that it is all hand made. We rolled it out today and sand blasted the hull which is all I could do with my machine as it would tear up...
Started working on this 5 ton over a year ago for a good friend of mine. It's been sitting on jack stands since November of last year. So this 3 day weekend I got busy. Sometime this week I will set the engine back in.

Had to replace the exhaust from the engine to muffler on Saturday. Took it to Maxi-Muffler, a shop just a block from me. The guy did the best he could do with his machine. They couldn't do the mandrel bend's, if anybody knows where to find some NOS exhaust or some good used exhaust please let...
