I had Stephan Wood Products make longer fiberglass staves so I could put an old cargo parachute up and over an S-280 shelter on the back of my M-36. Told them the length I wanted and the quantity. Package arrived in two weeks. YMMV and no I don't remember the cost - it was 10 years ago.
In the FSC codes the first of five digits is the finish 1=gloss, 2=semi-gloss (satin), 3= flat. Second digit is the basic color (4 being green), and the last three are the particular shade of that color.
There is an old thread which goes into detail on that, and it has a link to the table of...
I've been on that bridge. Notably when Neil Hendricks drove his deuce through the river at full tilt and I got his picture (that later got published in the MVPA magazine).
A telephone circuit (pair of wires). WD-1A will work. WD-1 originated in the US Civil War and was used by telegraph operators. The teletype machines allowed a typist to send messages without the training to send AND receive text.
In the middle of the picture posted there is a black 'rod' going from left to the middle, then a couple of nuts with a lock washer between them, then out the right side is a much smaller wire/cable. The U shaped bracket that it goes through is your tie down point. Get one of the nuts on one...
Try www.rattrig.com they have a PDF of the -12 manual and www.navy-radio.com has the -34 and -34P manuals.
And I see some on evil-bay also using a Google search with the term "TM 11-5815-206". HTH
If you built one of Kenny's pressure bleeders, your wife could be doing more productive things. With a half full 2 gallon sprayer it only takes 2 or 3 pumps to give it enough pressure to bleed the system. Even less mess if you get one of the Duralast One Man Brake Bleeder Kit to capture the...
Jeepsinker is right! You only need 5 or 6 pounds of pressure in the pump sprayer to properly bleed the brakes - just enough to get the fluid coming out of the bleeders w/o any bubbles.
The fourth bolt is fairly easy IF you have two extensions and a U joint between them. Bolt, socket, first extension, U Joint, second extension, ratchet wrench. Fed them through the hole in the frame and ratchet away! I've done three that way.
The deuce brake master cylinder is a standard design, used in the GMC medium duty trucks from 1937 to 1959 (single cylinder), just like the M-37 brake master cylinder rebuild kit is the same as the 1936 Packard. BTW, the Packard rebuild kit is NAPA part number ONE as Ferro pointed out on...
How full is your primary fuel tank? Aux fuel pump should only start running when your primary is down to 1/4 tank, and shut off when it gets to 3/4 tank. Is the aux line clear and hooked up properly at both ends?
What format are your pictures? GIF, JPG, PNG, TIFF? The first three can be adjusted for compression of the image quality. A 25 percent JPG picture and the same picture saved as a TIFF will be about 100 times the file size.
Nah, they all fit in a box about 12 x 12 x 40, weighs a ton, but the one I got had THREE deuce headbolt wrenches! Laid out they fill a 12 x 20 ft floor. And you are very correct that most of the tools will never be used except as paperweights.
