I wonder if all this Key business and synchro's locking/breaking and starting/ not starting in 2nd has anything to do with the bearing i just replaced in my trans...the input shaft bearing. I start out in 2nd mostly and had never had a problem. I figured the bearing just gave out after 30+ yrs...
Im not screaming about the F-22 in any aspect other then its a capable, viable aircraft that is already in service-compared to the F-35 that is in testing phase. The only beef i have with the F-35 is the HUGE waste of money the program is. Im not saying the F-22 didnt cost an astronomical amount...
Yes, the idea was to place it to the rear near the tailgate, without putting armor plating on the sides back there, similar to a quad 50 setup, that way it wouldnt have to be much higher then the sides of the bed, and i would put stoppers on the sides so it couldnt rotate far enough to aim...
LOL yah no doubt...big things do come in small packages i guess...i bet it packs a pretty good wallop.
But what do you think about putting one of them 37MM in my deuce?
Ok fella's... Opinion time!
If i were to aquire and install a M6 37mm AT Cannon on the back of my truck near the rear with a shield instead of 2 M2 BMG's , and 2 M2 BMG's at each front corner of the bed, would that be cool? Ive looked around and have never seen a deuce with an M6 on it, but...
Kind of a vague description considering the picture lol...one might say that its the little thing sticking up from the axle just to the left of the differential...just my 2cents
so out of sheer boredom....i labeled it for you [thumbzup]
yah..whats a dogbone? Ill probably slap myself on the forehead when you tell us because i probably know what they are, but ive never heard the term....
Doesnt look half bad. Mine is also a 66 KJC. Hard to tell from the pictures what kinda shape its in. Drive it-if it seems to run good then it might be a good buy. Check for all the obvious stuff, leaks-rust-damage-etc and be sure all the fluid levels are full and run the oil off the stick...
hmmm lets see here....
Done:
Removed 109 Van Body.
Installed Cargo bed.
Put on newer mirror brackets that arent 8 feet out from the door.

1st is for the 3052 and 2nd for the 3053A from Jatonka's website...which is what i used to rebuild my tranny recently.
now are you talkin bout the A3? 'cuz i thought, and checked/double checked in my TM that GO was used in the manual shift trannys....OE/HDO would be too thin....
Which are you referring to? 30w in the trannys for A3's or?
Agreed that there is 15 million things wrong with the F-35 program. Fraud Waste and Abuse comes to mind. Obama didnt KILL the F-22 program...he just stopped it in its tracks...if he killed it they would get rid of them and all the fine folks who work on or around them, like myself. Im still...

try getting a flexible magnet and see if you can fish it out....as they said, these are kinda important. Even though your not a mechanic, this should be relatively easy fix. an inspection mirror and a flashlight might come in handy too....and if your were a wee bit closer id come help...since i...
