Here are some before and after pics of the 2 recent Deuces,looking much better after a through cleaning.

Ok,got a few questions,The trans in my 816 makes 2 distinct noises,the first is best described as a rattle near the input shaft/bell housing aera only at low idle(550 to 600 rpms)with the trans oil at operating temp.It usually accompanied by the engine bogging down while making the noise always...

Well,went out to move the M200A1(to remove the waste oil tank mounted on it) decided to use the Deuce.Ck the oil,jump in the cab,hit the start button.Engine starts,runs 2 seconds and dies,Hmmmm.Try again,same result.Hmmm,1 more time,start,apply fuel,POP!!! notice something flying from the stack...

One more reason I love my dropside,Hauled a 12,000 lb crusher head for work today with the deuce,Quickly converted from Dropside to flatbed in 45 min!Heres a few pics.

I'm gonna post this in the classifieds as well,2 M416 trailers,1 66 and 1 67 model.Both are in excellent shape,never modified or cut up.Both have surface rust only and have no body damage,all lights work and tires are fair,$ 500 ea or $1000 for the pair,no titles,bill of sale only.I'll post pics...

Well,went to Ballground GA today and bought another M123,just did save it from the torch,it was scheduled to be cut up in the next few weeks.It's a 1969 Mack M123E2,basically a rolling chassis,has 8 good tires though.I'll probably restore this one and turn the other into a parts truck.

Will this V903C Cummins fit the M123 series of trucks?It states it is for the 939 series.I thought the 939 series uced the NHC 250 and the 8.3 C Cummins.If it will fit the 123 series I may buy it it...

Well,got the grill and radiator out of the way on the 10 ton today,hooked up the batteries and slave off the 816 and the Deuce.I spun it over with a 3/4 drive rachet first (to make sure it wasn't hydro locked)spun it over with the starter for a total of about three minutes and it won't fire,even...

Boy,I got lucky,found out that I had my Deuce fuel rate turned up as far as it would go(24 flats or 4 complete turns)lucky I didn't blow it up!I didn't realize I had it turned up that far,It did run quite good though.It just obscured the road behind me unless I was shifting gears.
