Need a reliable transport company for three HMMWV trucks ready in Yermo, CA to drop off in Texas. Two trucks going to Austin (central) and one going to the DFW area (north).

Getting this 1165A1 REV next week. Auction guys couldn't start it because of the obvious belt issue. It's wrapped around the fan. Planning my first steps to dignose and troubleshoot, hopefully get the engine running. Was just going to cut the belt off, check fluids & obvious stuff, connect power...
Yeah... some are for the turn signal, some are ends of the same wires, and who knows what the others are for. Can't wait to get this jigsaw puzzle home and figure it out. Will post more pics when I do.
Thanks. This is not the GMV truck I referenced in other posts - this is the 1165 REV. I appreciate the encouragement - will trace em down!
PS - assuming the part number for the turn signal switch (6220-01-408-7785) is the same for all Gens, M998, 11xx series trucks, all through the REVs?

Has anyone had any luck getting GovPlanet to deduct the Sales Tax from the final Invoice when the Vehicle is being shipped out-of-state? I requested it and they just replaced the CA Tax with Texas Sales Tax instead. I don't want to pay the tax until I go to register it (if possible). Any advice...
Yep, my sentiments exactly. I am keeping the original ECV GMV as designed. Only grabbing a few things from the REV (rearwall, turret plug, etc) and selling the REV (hopefully running).
Yeah the REV's serpentine belt being all wrapped up leads me to hope that maybe the AC Compressor siezed up and snapped the belt. Just hoping that's all it needs to get the REV truck running. If so, I'll definitely not cannibalize it too much.
I considered this, but most I hear about the REV trucks from guys that have them is "though they are the latest & greatest, the parts are expensive and hard-to-find", whereas the ECVs are tried-and-true, with easy/inexpensive maintenance.
