    wiring adapter

Been There Done That...and then some. Got tired of having so many problems & issues related to “easy” and “quick” fixes, I didn’t mind finally spending the money on the XM converter box...installed one on a Deuce as well, and both are still working flawlessly several years later. No regrets...

    wiring adapter

That’s the one I use, since 2015 so more than 6 years of use. NO problems whatsoever, I recommend it. Works great on semi-trailers, goosenecks, 5th-wheels, and bumper pulls.

Account Upgrade -> Concurrent instead of extending existing

Same for me please....last month I extended my membership for two months (expiring Oct 19, 2023) and my new Account Upgrade for $10 shows a concurrent membership that expires Nov 4 2022. Is it possible to tack that extra year on the end of my current membership please? Thank you!

Legal Issues that could effect all MV Owners

What with the recent IRS changes to the HGV tax issue, just re-registered my M931A2 in Utah; the reminder postcard that came in the mail had the heading “Requires IRS 2290.” Went online to IRS website to obtain an EIN, was quick and easy (listed myself as Self-Employed and need EIN for banking...

M915: some sage advice needed - Freezing Trouble

The AD-9 shown in Simp’s post is the exact same one I’ve been installing on a customer’s trucks I service....you can buy an entire unit for around $125 shipped on Amazon, and the bolt-together cartridge type is disposable. So you buy a new one cheaper than you can have one serviced for, just...

Sinking an M561 Gama Goat at Camp Pendleton, CA

That looks like the Amtrac (AAV) area on the south end of Pendleton, near Oceanside. I’ll bet those two got in more trouble for not policing up their gear left floating in the water than the sinking of the GG...I wonder if the orange-ish colored item floating in the water was the Fording...

    How old is too old

98G & Simp5872 give advice that is well worth heeding...I don’t know anyone else who has had more blowouts, tire troubles, and other vehicle issues while driving former military trucks. And I don’t mean to downplay advice/experience of NDT and other well-respected members of the site, I guess I...

    HEMTT, well kind of

It looks like a HEMTT cab that has come through the DRMO/Auction pipeline was engineered to fit onto a pickup chassis...I think it’s great! Excellent way to preserve the HEMTT cab and have a unique vehicle. Surprised nobody mentioned the various other repurposing projects on this site (most...

Also the hardest thing for a vehicle owner to accept, if the hoses look serviceable on the outside.
