Yes they are expensive but they will light the road better than the high dollar German sedans. It is worth not eating for a week to buy the Trucklite LED headlights. Remember to feed the children though.
Another option is to purchase the Trucklite LED headlights and not worry about installing the relay. The LED's do not have the high AMP pull.
Or you can do both.
On the LMC relay follow the instructions, if is fairly easy. Install relays on passenger side front grill, attach to 1...
Ah Yes the Ticking sound. My son is driving the M1008 now days as a daily driver. He says one day it is making strange ticking noises and can not figure out what the noise is. I asked him if he opened the hood and listened around the motor above, below, on each side etc. He said no...
We paid Durhamtown personally a ton of money every year, strangely it was never calculated the same way either every year. One year I would pay 80, another 200 another 160 and it was always the same deal. Primative camping, 1 driver and trail riding for kids.
So yes we can all pay a fee as...

There was a guy building Rock Sliders on the site for CUCV years ago. These did not really go anywhere but there was alot of interest in Rock Sliders and or Step up bars. I would vote for M1009 step up bars.
Where to start:
I have complete medium towbars either 1" feet or 3/4" feet $350.00. These are the newer style with reinforced couplings. These have real pins and not bolts stuck in them. I think I only have 1 towbar with 1" feet. 2 with 3/4.
I believe assembled it weighs 1200 lbs. You have a leg brace every 8 feet. That is 6 per side or 12 good areas to pickup. You could put 2 guys on each leg brace. Would not be the easiest thing to do but where there is a will there is always a way.
I figure I will get 20 years on the tent fabric. I could put on 303 spray to improve the UV protection on both the buckles and overall rubber canvas, but I do not. The buckles are not UV resistant and break. they have not yet come unthreaded which I am sure will happen over time from the...
Standard LME is 24 x 32. You can extend indefinitely. I found another 16 foot section and added on to one of the tents to make 48'. The only thing that I think will cause me problems long term are the buckles which break during hurricane winds in the south :)
