Outside view of drivers side rear bumperette - shackle pin head doesn't line up with hole in bumperette. Pin is actually a little rusty, so must be original.

Just found another pic of an Australian M816 in an Army museum collection. Did not know that 77 was the total purchase order from AM General.

I have three towbars in OKC needing pickup / transport to NY.. Only one HAS to make it, two would be nice, second and or third can be traded for the favor.....
Need to 'Prime Fuel System' as I have a no start situation. Trucks been standing for a while and primary fuel filter has dried!!?? No fuel comes from the sediment drain on base of #1 filter.

Two of the four 6TL batteries have died (8.5 and 10.1 volts - 0 charge), I went to the local battery store (yes, Interstate specialist who have supplied pallets of 6TL's to local armory/base).
I had followed their suggestions for 'rejuvenating' them with standard (heavy duty charger on wheels)...
Anyone in the Chicago area able to make a pickup from Downers Grove, box and ship to me in NY a 30 / 40 lb piece of military kit? Maybe fit in a large "if it fits, it ships" box...
