What did you do to your trailer today.

G'day everyone,..... Well I think those front ones must be speed holes so I guess that would explain the square holes on the sides,.... The air flowing through the front holes creates static that is stored in the body until the mass can no longer except any more electrons. The excess is...

    Australia: Importing US MV's

G'day everyone,..... Regrettably I have had to halt the deal with the C1500's as I have logistics issues that I can't resolve. Also the amount of work and time it will take is just a shade more than I have time for just now. I have though found a better replacement vehicle for what I intend...

What did you do to your trailer today.

G'day everyone,..... Just to add to my post above,..... My M105A2 has a number stencilled on it on the front, on the frame at the back and on the tailgate. Not the same as stamped into the drawbar, what might that one be? Dose'nt look like unit ID. Aussie.

What did you do to your trailer today.

G'day everyone,..... Just a couple of questions: 1) Dose the M105A2 have a serial number? There are 2 numbers stamped into the drawbar on mine and I don't know what they are for. 2) Dose it have a build date stamped into it anywhere? Only date I have on mine is the 'Reworked by VSE Corp...

    Valve lash adjustment

G'day everyone,..... Yes, I was describing an OHC system, my bad, force of habit as that's what I have mostly worked on. So, in the case of a pushrod system I rotate the engine until the pushrod/tappet reaches its LOWEST point and that's when I'd check the gaps and make adjustments as...

    Valve lash adjustment

G'day everyone,.... Anytime the lobe is pointed upwards there should be the least amount of pressure on the valve stem and the valve should seal. So on any valve you are going to check/adjust make sure the lobe is pointed upwards. Inlet and exhaust gaps will be different. Aussie.

    Valve lash adjustment

G'day everyone,.... When doing valve gaps/adjustments I've always made sure the lobe was pointing UP and then simply check your gap and adjust as needed. Works every time for me. Aussie.

G'day everyone,..... Well I take my Deuce back into storage in a few hours, still haven't done the oil change due to rain. :( :( :( I to need to fit a seal in the fire wall where the steering go's through. My cardboard one that was there mostly disintegrated when customs 'cleaned' the...

What did you do to your trailer today.

G'day everyone,..... Yeah I tend to do that as well,.... I'll put a little drop of light oil on screws and nuts and bolts to stop corrosion, you can still tighten them without them coming undone and it dose make it easier for next time. I just used a little oil on the landing gear pins for...

G'day everyone,.... The other day I Swapped the bolt around to clear the light. Yeah, I did the other side. Then I got out my Hi-lift jack to hold the front of the M105 up so I could raise the landing gear and lubricate it as needed. Yeah, it looks a little dry in...
