Didn't 'do' anything to my Humvee, but I did take her out of the garage after 4 months and take her for a drive.

Couple weeks ago, I nearly met with an accident on the way home. My hydraulic fluid leaked out completely apparently and I couldn't take my exit. truck wouldn't turn at all. No power steering. Smacked into the road divider curb with my front tires. Hydraulics were screaming something fierce...

Not sure how yours is wired, mine runs off the positive on the pressure switch. Check the wiring diagram I have at the 18:16 mark of the video.

I know the 24v ones are available, but I had bought the 12v kit last year and recently installed a step down, so it just all came together.

I did get tie downs. It just took an extra two days to get from Amazon. I had blocks packed in there to keep ‘em from moving till then. :)
