How to install a 12v A/C in your Humvee.

Installed a 12v A/C in my humvee.

I have one of those kits but why not just get a 24v one?

I know the 24v ones are available, but I had bought the 12v kit last year and recently installed a step down, so it just all came together.

Oh make sense, how does it works? I have an underdash A/C with the electric compressor, the only problem is I had to wire the compressor to a toggle switch because it wouldn't come on when it was wired into the evaporator sending wire.

Not sure how yours is wired, mine runs off the positive on the pressure switch. Check the wiring diagram I have at the 18:16 mark of the video.
