Fellow Steelers; bought an MEP-804A on an M200A1 trailer, and looking to tow from OH to PA.. Is it safe to tow ? I dont know whether the trailer brakes work or not.. Any advice much appreciated.

Are the POGs-10 worth it? I have been offered one by my neighbor, who said he got it off the GovPlanet site..seems he cant figure how to stop the tripping. I was thinking of buying and having it serviced by the manufacturer OnSite Gas, but not sure if there is a market for these items...

Fellow Steelers, any idea on where I can buy a muffler for an 802A/803A Genset? Discovered that my muffler was rotted out/badly corroded and will like to replace. Any tips, selling sites, references is much appreciated...

Thanks all.!!!. I played around with the floats. The Gen appears to be working without any of the issues...I have tested it several times and seems to run well. I have yet to call an Electrician to install the required wiring/panels for my pumps.. based on your knowledge and experience is a 5KW...
Thanks everyone.. I ended opening up the crankcase and playing around with the pressure relief valve, just making sure it was not stuck..The pressure now seems to be reading around 60 ~ 70 psi, which is ok and within acceptable engineering ranges... I manged to run the set and it is outputting...

thanks!!!! for the education!. yes it was indeed reversed wiring. still miffed as to how/why it came out of the army auction mis-wired.. The gen started with no smoke !. Here is what I noted.
1. Moved the Master Switch to "PRIME & RUN" .........ticking/knocking sound from...

thanks all...Guyfang, yes the FU-1 seems to blow even before I try and start. Actually it looks like it blows when I connect the negative terminal to the battery..am completely stumped now..
thx....will verify the connections again. Here is a pic of how it is hooked up at the starter end. The red cable -VE goes to the -VE terminal post on the 2nd battery:-?
k, so i replaced the fuse in FU1 and pulled out CD-1...no sparks or any sound, however I noticed that the new fuse i put in FU1 has blown again..as ever any pointers greatly appreciated. also Guyfang, when you say the negetive terminal has to go to a ground point .. I see a white covered cable...
