That sounds like a great idea. I would have to run a ground wire to the light but putting an overhead organizer on it is genius. I tell ya some of the best ideas come out in those field mods.
So I’ve refurbished two interior lights and was looking for options to mounting these. I want to put one over each front seat. I’d like to either mount to the front roof bow or between the bow and the B pillar. Any ideas or thoughts would be great. Thanks

Nice. I’m going to make a set of the angle braces. They’re a unique size of c channel so I’m going to have a shop brake some flat stock to the right size. Then I’ll make all four angle braces. Should be a piece of cake.
I’ve not reached a conclusion on this matter. In a pinch it will work how I have it but I’ll probably never really need that many in my bed. Hopefully.
So I bought 1/4” 28 bolts and they really didn’t want to thread more than a couple of turns. So I was going to just run a 1/4” drill bit through them and use nuts. Then I decided to use a thread chaser first and that did the trick. Thanks for the info.
