The brackets are from the M984 wrecker. I saw pictures of them then posted in the wants forum and a member had a couple sets. Yes, the heavy bar requires separation to put up there and takes two people but would be needed to tow a HEMTT if the need arose. I think a 5 ton could pull one a short...
I got my tire mounted back on the M985, mounted my tow bar mounts and hung the tow bar, and installed another tool box on top of the main box on the right side. The box came off of an M1061 trailer.
Is there any one traveling this route? I am looking at a HEMTT cargo cover kit either out of Ohio or Atlanta. Looking for shipping cost if anyone is in a position to help. Doesn't need to be in any specific time frame so I am very flexible there. The kit is 8.5 feet long and approximately 500...
Those were complete kits with everything needed to install. Would have been nice to see them come up for auction. With the time that has passed I wonder if they were scrapped.
L0 is neutral. When in 120v 1ph you will get;
L1-L0=60v
L2-L0=60v
L3-L0=0v
In 240v 1ph you will get:
L1-L0=120v
L2-L0=120v
L3-L0=0v
At least that is what I get from mine.
That is odd. I run mine in the 240 single phase mode to give me 2 120 volt legs just like my house.
120v 1ph L1=60v L2=60v (L1 to N, L2 to N)
240v 1ph L1=120v L2=120v (L1 to N, L2 to N)
What is your power volt readings at the courtesy outlets?
THAT is an EPA compliant engine. I assume it is in a HMMWV. Recovry4x4, where is the FMVSS sticker on any MVs other than CUCVs? I haven't found one on my M923 or M985.
"Your engine has a emissions exemption sticker. "
I have personally seen some HMMWVs with EPA certification stickers AND others with the exemption tag. My guess is the EPA'd ones have had an engine change using a GM supplied crate engine which does have the EPA sticker. Also, can anyone tell me...
I hear "Cool Factor" and "Impractical." Well, as far as I am concerned I don't want one. The price for a decent one to me is to high and that diesel drivetrain is weak. If I could get one with a bad engine cheap, and I mean CHEAP, I would put in 400hp of small block Chevy and an O/D trans to...
