I eyeballed it. If you thin it a cup (the paint cup on the gun) at the time, it's probably not an once. You will be able to tell when it is spraying correctly. You will also need to clean the filter under the paint cup periodically because it will clog.

Pressure wash it and then paint. I used the same gun to spray my M929. You may need to thin the paint it a little with water. It doesn't take much, so be careful not to add too much.

If you convert it to 12 volts, I would just run one alternator. Unless you have a big electrical load and need the extra amp capacity, there's no point in wearing out two alternators at the same time.

I spray white lithium into drain hoses on my RV and breather vents on my M915. This keeps the mud dobbers from plugging them up.

Sparky1, what you need is a solenoid in the B+ line that disconnects the batteries to the truck, controlled with either with a separate switch, or the ignition switch. I have one in the 12 volt supply on my M915A2 because the tachograph and other drains kill the batteries if the truck is not...

Here is an easy way to remember thread direction for removing the lug nuts. With the lug wrench on the nut and the handle pointing straight up, pull towards the back of the truck to loosen the lug nuts. This is true for either side.

You need a big container to catch the oil. Any heavy truck 15/40 oil will work, they are all good; I buy whats on sale. All of my trucks have had different brands of oil in them over the years with no problems. I usually get Rotella T 15W-40 or Delo 400.

You can tell by the extra terminal on the back for the ground. It is similar to the B+ terminal except the insulator is black.

If the alternator is working at all, I would suggest you rebuild the stock alternator. Isolated ground alternators are hard to come by. My signature has a link to my alternator rebuild thread and also my classified add for the rebuild kit.

I see about 120 average, but it takes more than 20 miles to get there. I wouldn't worry about a 10 degree difference in temperature.
