So, our stock tire size is 37 x 12.5 x 16.5...right? Are there any aftermarket tires in this size or perhaps up to 40" that would go on the stock rim?
I'm having a hard time searching those too. 17" - no problem. But 16.5 is.
I date stamp checked my tires - they were all made in 2008 and...
yes it is. And been there done that. Dang rodent pee also rotted out the heater core.
Ive bleached and replaced all the soft duct hose. I’ve painted the inside of the blower housing and it still wreaks of mouse nest when I turn on the blower. I hope you have better luck than I.
I know what you mean. The Humvee is a real bonus (but I take the soft doors and roll up the canvas to protect the soft windows from damage). We have done a game play where the boys (15 and 16) under my supervision "SLOWLY" bring the humvee across the field and "run out of fuel" They then have...
So.....EVERYTHING (other than the kid and Humvee) in these pictures is now GONE! Massive rain and floods - washed it all away.
But, we see piles of pallets here and there down the creek and fields from our property. Once the ground dries up, will load the Humvee and go retrieve what we can...
I'd like to have some fun with a temporary color change over the summer. I've seen plenty of plasti-dip videos. However, I have concerns it will peel off nice and neat on such a rough surface.
Anybody have any luck getting it to stick...and getting it to come off when desired cleanly?
You'll love being able to access the bed and set up the rear seats. I'm very happy with having used the factory block off plates, as set of soft door hinges, a saw blade...and some time and converted into doors. They are flimsy but they get the job done and cost just peanuts to make work.
I'm looking for basic "custom" cast wheels in the 18" or so variety that would update the looks a bit, and give me a more common wheel/tire for service and use. Tires are in great shape on my M998, but they are "aged" and I don't feel comfortable with them running over hot summer time roads at...
Mine started bouncing around on its own (truck not bouncing) and yesterday just went to reading full all the time.
I assume poor connection or float failure.
Do not know if I have the newer or older style unit. 1988 model truck.
I was out in the field last night and thought about taking pics of the ground. It tells the story.
Perhaps i will. There is still cardboard and 2x8 planks embedded in the mud.
So...YES, I did the brake modulation. I'm not 100% sure I'm doing it right as I can't see all four tires at once. My son said I had all four moving. I've watched military videos on it - but since there is no light that goes on or anything else I'm not 100% sure I'm doing it right. Basically...
So we had a lot of rain this weekend - actually used the truck to ford the waters as my son's air soft battle field was floating away (pallets and barrels). The truck was GREAT up to 2 feet of water. Little did I know I was playing with fire.
The next day, the waters went down significantly...
Now that I think about it - I did lose coolant when I swapped the temp sensor. I didn't top the overflow bottle back off! Perhaps I've got an air bubble in there now. DANG IT! Perhaps it burped through and I can just top it off at the tank now.
I didn't lose very much - but perhaps enough.
I might add, I've not had an overheating problem at all. The water pump was bad when I bought the truck - but even at that (full of water) it ran super cool because the fan NEVER turned off. Once I got all that cured, and new cadillac valve (why it never turned off) it was cycling...
