    M37 Barn Find

Got a question, all the data plates are made of brass or a brass colored metal. Also, the data plate indicates the truck was built by Doge, a division of Chrysler. Not sure if this is a 1966. After checking several specimens on the web, I'm thinking maybe a mid fifties truck. As far as I can...

    M37 Barn Find

I found a M37, I think it's a M37B1. It's said to be a 1966 Fairly straight, has a winch, heater and trump seats. Top is in poor shape. Little to no rust. It has a couple "upgrades". One is a V8 engine and the other is power steering. We've already shaken hands on the deal, just waiting on the...

Hello from MiddleEarth with questions about my M1009

Welcome from Wyoming and to the M1009 fraternity. You are in luck! You have a front driveshaft, it appears your fuel filter has been replaced (with the 6.5 install) and your antenna mounts are still intact. I need to get more photos one of these days but until then:

    CUCV Radiator recommendation

Do you have a radiator repair shop near by? I've used this option repeatedly with good results. It's not a perfect option but repair shops will repair/replace parts and pressure test the repaired radiator. oops, disregard.:jumpin::jumpin:

    Brake Problems on my M35A2

Sounds like maybe your brake lines on the passenger side have some kind of contamination. The master cylinder could have contamination in it as well. It doesn't sound like the booster is involved unless it's picked up contamination from the other components. First, pull the passenger side front...

saving military communications gear at hamfests

I've got some Ham radio doodads out in the barn. A big arsed antenna among other things. I'm getting rid of all of it. Too many projects so some are going away. If interested PM me.

    M-52 Recovery

Been a while since I've done an update. Here's what's up: bed idea is gone. I'm returning it back to original configuration. I have several M52A2 parts as well as M800 series and series 900 scrounged up. Thank you hendersenj! One of the big problems (more than one...) is the spare tire carrier...

    Deuce Dread guntruck

I think you'd need to upgrade to at least a 5 ton just to cart enough ammo. 10 ton would probably be better. Otherwise, I want one too!!!:beer:

    Distracted Driving

While driving home from work one day several years ago, I got into some heavy traffic. I was approaching a lighted intersection and realized the people in front of me weren't driving smart. They were approaching the intersection at speed but when the light turned yellow, they sped up. This led...

Can you identify this unique truck?

I looked up the Cometto website and they show a setup like the one in the pictures. If it was a Navy rig, perhaps it could have been used to move a mini sub?

    cucv fuel filter housing

Had nothing but trouble with the stock filter. Got tired of constantly fighting with it so I went to a local junkyard to find a replacement. I found a Suburban with a Diesel engine that the previous owner replaced the fuel filter with a commercial version. It plumbed right in and even fit the...

    MSD-ICE Kit Diagnostics

Not sure what the MSD-ICE machine is but my STE-ICE works pretty good. I saved about the cost of one by using to troubleshoot different problems. I've used on my M-35's, M1009 and M-52. I've got 2 1/2 kits. Not sure why, musta been a weak moment on my part.
