    Stop Valve Replacement??

I have an M813, not sure how many models have this part or if this post would be better served in another forum, but has anyone found a cheaper civilian replacement for this valve? The lowest OEM valve I've found is $175. The 1/8 NPT stem on my valve is bent, doesn't line up well with the...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

May have figured out my RPM issue. First a recap, after an oil change the shutoff solenoid started acting up then I couldn't get the truck over 1000 RPM...how any of this is related is anybody's guess...the diesel Gods are restless. First I tore apart the fuel system, replaced the filter and...

    Parking Brake Adjustment Issues

The inner and outer shoes are set at .05 or 1/64 of an inch with a feeler gauge, can't remember the TM but here's a video I produced on the subject with illustrations from that TM.

Found a vice mounted rivet tool from DJS Tractor Parts on e-bay that did the trick on my M813 parking brake, had to modify the setting striker to fit my vice.

This is what I don't understand. You shouldn't need another battery as amps power speakers. Preamp Boosts a weaker signal to line level, and provides volume and gain control. Preamps can also include tone controls and filters. They are designed to enhance softer sounds without adding extra...

Those two Skar Amps will require a total of about 200 AMPS of current. If you're going to add another battery consider two banks of the 12 volt batteries in series on a battery switch. You can run off either bank or both, also gives you a kill switch for the rig.

A 1000W device is going to draw nearly 90 Amps of current at 12V. What's the make and model?

I meant to say 24V to 12V step down converter not inverter. You should be able to run the the 12V speakers directly off the converter provided the amperage is sufficient. Converters are sold in a variety of amps. What's the total amperage of your 12V circuit?

Are you running the 12V circuit off an inverter?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

The other was shipped with 100, I'll drop them to 75. At most I'll haul 2 tons because that's all my license will allow, Class D in Massachusetts has a max of 26000 lbs total hauled or towed...so in effect I own a 5 Ton Deuce and a half ;)

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Topped off my tires, for some reason one of the new ones was shipped with only 40 psi. Brought them both up to 100 psi...OK it took a few days because I didn't want to melt my 30 gallon Briggs and Stratton. Now I'm chasing air leaks in my fuel lines, still can't get her over 1500 RPM
