Which is one of the reasons why I'm buying a used Ford F250 SD Turbo Diesel :P and selling the CUCV :( to help off set the price. Look for it on E-bay some time after next week, when I get back from my short vacation.
I love my CUCV but it isnt practical for me anymore.
I thought my post was posted! I thought I overloaded my CUCV the other day, I picked up some tile and mix....Total weight 1410 pounds.
Is the paylaod on the CUCV 1200?
You know, I had a vision of installing a CB and hooking it up to the antennas, but I couldn’t find any antenna kits. My CUCV came with no antennas or mounts
I have a CB though
Thanks. All the time I messed with the batteries I wasnt sure about which wires go on/off first. I always made sure nothing touched anything, especially after I had a nice 4th of July show when I connected the batteries after installing the wrong kind of alternator.
Here’s a question for the 24 volters; When you are disconnecting your batteries, which cable do you take off first, what could happen if one of the positives touched the body while everything is hooked up?
Anyone ever hear of Shaw’s American Diesel in Richmond VA...I have heard he's the man when it comes to diesels, just wondering if any members ever heard of him.
Bankspower recommended him to me.
What kind of problems. This is the first house I have owned and I need to fill in a crack between the concrete stairs leading up to my door....I thought about using the foam...Whats the deal? :?:
Re: RE: No Stereo = insanity!!!!!
Sometimes I turn the stereo off in my other vehicles while I'm driving. It's good for a man to hear what noises his car/truck is making. For some its theraputic, I don't get strange looks from people while cruisin in my CUCV.
5% tint all the way around makes...
So I drove to my buddies house to use his gargage to work on the tailgate. I dropped both windows, opened the vent windows and opened both floor vents to counter the vacume that would be created while driving with the tailgate window down...It didnt help, by the time I got to his house my tongue...
Yeah, I orderd the parts today. They did not thave the pad in stock, I didnt need it or the handle anway. Thanx for the reference....Its set be back $60....that aint bad.
I couldnt find it on JC whitney....I guess Ill just rig the crank to work without a lock cylinder. The way the weather is going I may have to get by this winter with a 2x4 jambed in the tailgate to hold the window up, unless I find a friend with a garage.
At one time you could find door panels...
