I finally found the TM with the diagram of where the resistor is. I know you said behind the instrument panel, but a picture is worth a 1,000 words. Thanks again!
I just bought an M1152 (my first Humvee). The AC doesn't work on it and only the high speed fan works (low speed doesn't seem to do anything). Could someone direct me to the right TM to start diagnosing the issue?
I'm new to this forum. I tried to "Start a Conversation" with 86HUMV, but I got an error and it said, "We ran into some problems. Please start a conversation with one of the following staff members: patracy ". How do I direct message other members?
Hey tavakr, I see you're in Spokane; I am too. I just bought an M1152 from a guy in Post Falls, Idaho and got the registration processed for Washington. I haven't received the Washington title yet, but I put the plates are on and I'm driving it around. Did you end up getting your M1123 licensed?
Anyone have a spare fuel tank access cutout lying around that they want to get rid of? It looks like I can buy it from HPG for $91 (part No 57K3529 / 01-454-7077), but a moderator suggested I post a classified want ad to see if anyone might hook me up for less. Green color preferred.
That's funny. You may have guessed this is my first Humvee. It's the perfect shape for a repair plate. Wonder if I could buy a replacement access door and use it as a repair plate?
Thanks Retiredwarhorses. Here's a few pics with a tape measure. I also included a pic of what appears to be another repair. I like the way they did the other repair. You hardly notice it. I don't want to replace the whole middle floor panel (although thanks country for the link).
Is there a place you can order a deck patch that a person could just rivet in place? I see there's a couple of places where mine was repaired, but there's a big gash that wasn't repaired.
