Ive grown up with fuel injection my whole life (Old is a pushrod 350) what is the canister on the driverside top of the engine?

Hey everyone, Thanks for the info. I am ashamed to admit I still havent had the time to do more than clean some stuff out of it. I have seen some great pics of the interior with layout and labels for everything. Does anyone have a similar type of layout for the engine bay? Thanks!!!

I would like to get the M37 to fire. I do think I am going to put the fuel line into a jerry can just to get it to fire up. It has been sitting for about 4 years. Ill prob shoot a little WD40 down the plug holes before startup also But, what do I do? Switches? what is the start up...

Well, I was able to find the serial number on the frame. 80025902 When I look it up in the power wagon vin decoder it says its a 52. My reg. says 63. Its def. an older model also What gives? Also, my data plate is blank. Is there any info you guys could get based on the VIN?

Thanks! I wont be able to look at mine again until I get home tomorrow. I was using a 80 grit piece of sandpaper and didnt want to rub it metal the whole way i may try using a welding wire brush

Hey guys we got the truck back to our house and started ripping all the old coverings off of it... I cant find the VIN stamp in the front frame rail- Can someone put of a pic of where its located? Thanks!!

We didnt disappear! Been working on the house non stop since we got it. Had some time to drop by the truck yesterday... Def. an air force blue truck, so it will be returned to that color and finish when we get going. Seems as though the bov in the previous picture was just placed in there...

Hi guys, thanks for the kind replies. It looks like it will have some rust. We are hoping the worst of it will be contained to removable parts. We arent 100% sure what the deal is with all the electronics, pretty sure most were just added for the look. Interesting enough though, the truck...
