I had a line on a take off hood, front perches, shocks, spings, windshield wipers and windshield for 200.00. Check out craigslist, sadly people are selling the axles from the 5 tons and scrapping the rest of the truck. Get it on a flat bed and bring your torch....get what you need before the...
Well, it is not the same state but here is what I did.
I went to the DMV or Secretary of State and asked to title the vehicle as Historic. I would bring whatever you have as paperwork including the SF-97 and bill of sale. bring the manual from the Army stating the weight for the model. I would...
Man, what happened to that truck....Air dropped IED or rolled?
Door locks, that is a good idea. I was thinking about doing a mod that would allow me to remotely with a hiding switch disable the starter, just in case someone knew how to start the truck.

Could I run the drums on the outsides and the disk on the pinion?
What effect would air over...
Cant wait to see it, please post lots of pics.....I have been thinking about dropping my rear axle if I keep the truck for a while.....cant wait to see the progress!
Anyone know the deal with a M54A2 wheel cylinder? I got one that I think is frozen in the back but figured I would tear into them and get them all fresh on the back.
I wonder if the work is going to be hard? just looking at the wheelit seems pretty straight forward. Anyone know if I need...
not sure if yours is the same as mine but I can hear a fuel pump running with the power on before I start the truck.,....might not be on yours...mine is a M54A2 from 66....
well, I would still get new fuel filters, unless you just changed them. then you can work through the prime and that way you have eliminated the clogged filter idea.
check that switch that decided the tank, I have read that it might be troublesome.
I would get under the hood and give it a...
